Update: Added a star for owners responsiveness and willingness to implement changes. I will visit again.
I’ve been sitting on this review for a couple weeks now, but I think management needs to know that they have a serious “kid problem.” People are already treating this beautiful, new place like it’s a daycare, and something needs to be done about it. Don’t get me wrong…I will be back to give it another try, but if it’s already this chaotic in the winter, I can’t even imagine what the spring season will bring.
On a Sunday afternoon, a group of of us were seated around one of the fire pit areas enjoying our (very expensive) food and drinks, when three couples with 10 young children came in and started pulling tables and chairs around like they owned the place. They proceeded to slide the tables over toward us and sat all 10 kids right next to us…not even allowing enough space for anyone to walk by. Then, the adults all went and sat in a separate space near another fire pit. I’m sure you can imagine our otherwise chill day out was suddenly ruined.
These thoughtless parents even took chairs from other tables, rendering them useless to what otherwise could have been paying patrons enjoying lunch. And guess what? Those 10 children didn’t eat or drink a thing! Aside from the kids next to us…there were many, many others running wild, screaming and crying throughout. One of the staff members even joked with us saying “If you think this is bad, you should have been here yesterday.”
I think management should consider designating an adults only section, or maybe just implementing a small surcharge per person, with a credit back for food and drink purchases. Look…I don’t know the first thing about running a food and drink establishment, but I do know that every seat is valuable to the business owner, and I’d like to see this great, new community space thrive. Next time I visit, I hope to change my...

Read moreI really want to like this place after two visits but it’s not quite there yet. The food ordering is clunky and with tax, tip, and service fees, it’s expensive. You are ordering from several different kitchens, so food comes out at all different times. Kids waiting for their dinner while all the adults have almost finished eating… fun. If you have a problem with your food, there’s no one to help you. We ordered a grilled cheese using the QR at the table, and it didn’t come after 45 mins. No texts were sent by the system, and turns out it was sitting at the pick up counter for over 30 mins. Oh, and they were adamant it was our fault.
Parking is a nuisance and requires either illegally parking along Elvas, questionably parking in a private lot next door, or running across busy Elvas in the dark to reach residential parking.
The good things about the space are that there’s lots of drink options, plenty of tables, and tons of room for kids to run around and have fun. However, we will find this at other beer garden-type places with...
