My family and I (5 of us) ate a late breakfast 3pm today 7/14/2021 we had to wait 20 minutes before a server approached our table to get our drink order and 30 minutes to get our food and they were not busy at all. Plus the service was so bad. We didn't get hot coffee, lipstick was on my mother in laws coffee cup and had to be taken back for another one. Didn't get my harvest pancakes and had to wait for them to get made, plus the waitress Daysi O who brought them out had such bad attitude. They never checked on us to see if we needed anymore coffee or anything until after the check was left to see if we needed anything else, really why didn't you come check to see if we needed anything while we were eating not after we were done. Then we get the bill and were over charged for Sr stack of pancakes so my mother in law wanted them taken off the bill so she can pay the difference of the meal so we can go. But the waitress Daysi O said that we didn't listen and started arguing with my mother in law and told my mother in law "EXCUSE YOU" to her, which is not good service. Then we ask to speak to a manager and Daysi O said that she was in charge and the one that took our order was the supervisor and no manager was available. Then started arguing with me and said that I wanted to FIGHT her, I said NO you had attitude way before this when you served me the wrong pancakes and you have BAD BAD customer service to talk to us like that and that you need to take Sr. pancakes off the bill. I had to walk outside to calm down. But Daysi O finally took the Sr. pancakes off the bill and mother in law paid. Can't post unless I give one star, but they don't deserve even that. Read moreSad and dry. My fiance and I ordered our meal and a large salad. The food came with the manager, we politely thanked him.. We did not receive any more service until we were able to wave down a passing waitress. We asked her who our wait person was..she told us Paul...we also asked for water, napkins..the waitress brought back the items....and walked away. No offer if we needed anything.else. the "waiter/manager" never appeared, never sent anyone to our table the entire meal...he spent time joking with a table of people behind us. PAUL then came to bring our bill. No conversation, no offer of desert, no pleasentries.Just the bills answer walked away....WOW.... I get the feeling that he is an African-American manager who believes that other African Americans don't deserve good service for the stereotypical reasons that float around in different areas. Unfortunately, he is sadly mistaken if this is his thought. My fiance is a former restaurant owner and he was livid. Read moreWe lost our IHOP in Chico during the Pandemic in 2021. It hurt for awhile, but we got over it...visiting this one reminded me why. My family and I walked in on a Friday night (5:15pm) to a near-empty restaurant. We noticed only 1 waitress, 1 cook, and 1 dishwasher. It took the server 10 minutes to get to us, and she took our order w/o a notepad. The food arrived fairly quickly (a sign of a good cook), but the meal went down from there. The 2 omelets were fairly smallish, and almost devoid of inner meat/vegetables, the ham and bacon were small and over- cooked, and the sweet pancakes (Pumpkin and Cranberry respectively) were good, but overly large in comparison to everything else. NO refills on our drinks, constantly asking for syrup and butter, and once the check arrived, NO further contact from our server. I can see why a lot of their restaurants are either closed/closing OR devoid of patrons. I wanted to give more stars, but in good faith I CAN'T. There has to be better substitutes in Sacramento... find them and eat...
