I’ve never really liked kfc much but we stopped here because we needed to eat. I wish I had gotten their names, but the guy at the drive thru window today (8/25/25) at about 2:30pm was very kind and made us feel welcomed. Then we had to run in and use the bathroom. The guy who gave us the code (I think he was on register but I’m not sure) also was very nice, and as we were leaving we saw him walking out to hand a woman outside some ice water. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of service we were met with, especially as a fast food worker myself who has experienced not such great service at other places. I understand how draining it can be because many people take fast food workers for granted and forget we’re people too, but commend these men for keeping such a kind demeanor! KFC/A&W , 3820 Florin Road in Sacramento, was shut down on Wednesday, April 2, for 10 major violations.

The facility, which combines two fast food franchises, was cited for health violations, including a cockroach infestation.

Two cockroaches were crawling on the floor beneath the main prep line, the April 2 report said.

Inspectors found 17 dead cockroaches on a pipe and behind a bowl storage shelf, both near the prep line.

A cooler door gasket was broken, leaving it unable to close properly.

The cooler’s ambient temperature measured 25 degrees higher than is allowed, and a bag of milk in the cooler had to be discarded.

Yesterday, I ordered a bucket of chicken & the cashier asked if I wanted Original or Spicy.. I was was surprised because at a different KFC location, they told me that they don't make spicy chicken.. So naturally I chose spicy, but then the cashier said it would be a 15minute wait.. I ended up waiting 30 minutes for something I didn't order... When I got home, I realized they gave me original recipe & these were mostly chicken legs with one thigh & one wing..
