Stagecoach Restaurant — Restaurant in Sacramento

First time I’ve been into stagecoach restaurant in over a year and my experience was not as good as it has been in the past! I ordered the chicken, fried steak and eggs and it came with gravy. I was so excited and started eating my meal and everything tasted pretty good. I tried something new on the menu. I’ve never tried which was the fried green tomatoes and their aïoli. I did not care for their aïoli, but that’s just me other people like it. that’s great. The part that really bothered me was I couldn’t figure out what was different about my meal And just before we finished and we’re getting ready to leave. I realized there was no meat in my gravy, and there had been previously the last time I was there. So I inquired about it with my waitress and she said there’s two different kinds of gravy, but you have to request the one with the meat in it. My question is, how would someone that doesn’t regularly come to a restaurant know this? The part that bothers me is that she didn’t bother to offer to fix anything? Didn’t try to resolve the situation at all. I paid my bill. I paid her tip but very unsatisfied with the way that things were handled and very disappointed because that is why I was ordering the chicken fried steak and gravy was for that specific gravy.

So if I ever choose to come back, I will try to remember that I as a customer have to request it not my waitress, offering or even mentioning that there’s two different kinds of gravy and asking me which one I’d like.

Great food but very disrespectful to veterans who served went to ask for my military discount witch I have received before today but when I presented my ID I was rudely told that the military ID was not accepted and that they don't offer military discounts I was very very very rudely talk to my wife was yelled at by the manager of she was a black female and the guy that had taken my military discount the last time acted like he didnt know me and I was rudely disrespected and I feel that nobody should go to this restaurant if you're a veteran they say veterans in uniform but anybody can up pick up a uniform and wear it I think that military id's and DD214's should be the way to indentify somebody as a veteran so if anybody goes to this restaurant please be where the service is horrible by the food is good so this will be my last time coming to this restaurant the owner should be a notified about this and I will be notifying the owner because hes the one that gave me the discount prior to this so for somebody to act like that they knew more than I did and that I was stupid and lower than them I believe that the manager should be fired and that things don't need to be changed in...

A personal Chef who recommended this home style southern restaurant using their family secret recipe/ingredients they kept to continue a legacy be passed down for future generations to come. We are not locals I'm from Vallejo and my fiancee is LA for us both to try this Restaurant the taste buds can't wait 😌

I was very pleased as you entered the restaurant there is a Bible Verse. The restaurant atmosphere/Decor is incorporated old school Western bringing back in the day when TV show Bonanza is how the name STAGECOACH came from us my theory. Employees'customer service was excellent you're greeted with a smile.. positive vibes and a warm. welcome feeling.. didn't wait long to be seated overall it was an amazing experience. reasonable price appetite is filling Entrees are big portions I highly suggest going with an empty hunger I ordered the special of the day fried cornmeal fish served with any choice of toast bread - eggs - vegetables - their well seasoned homestyle fries MUST TRY.

I rate this restaurant 5 plus stars I recommend people to try this experience if you haven't already...
