Monarca Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Sacramento

My service this morning was horrible waited forever to get our order taken at least 30 minutes or more they were not busy at all. It took me 20 minutes to get my hot chocolate 15 minutes to get a refill on a cup of coffee no communication with us at all the food finally got there it was alright another problem I had was she charged me a service fee when I asked her what is was she said she didn’t know to find out it was for a tip of more than 8 people it was just me and my husband they did end up taking it off but took them forever I will my business else where...

I live very close this restaurant and was excited to give it a try,. I was really in the mood for a margarita and a shredded beef tostada. Apparently no liquor license for margarita (understandable) however the tostada on the menu is chicken and I asked the server to have shredded beef instead she stated "we can't do that no substitutions ".So I had some chips and so-so salsa and a almost cold...

I stopped in at my lunch hour, I ordered a burrito and it took 45 minutes to arrive.. the staff was very friendly but disappeared… I would have ordered another drink and maybe some salsa ( the burrito was very bland). I ended up boxing it up and eating later as my lunch hour ended… I just work around the corner so I was hoping I could brag to my coworkers…. Sorry...
