My family and I have frequented this establishment for many years even before the current owners. Though the quality of the food is not what it used to be we have remained loyal customers. Today we received the worst service ever. When we entered today the waitress, who we have seen many times was extremely rude. The first thing she said to my daughter was "you cannot bring outside drinks" as my daughter had a juice in her hand. Now this we totally understand if this is the policy but it was the WAY she said and also the fact that my daughter has brought a drink before many and nothing was even said and it was never a problem. When she so rudely said this to us we told her we will leave and she rudely took her menus and walked away. I called back because I was so shocked and offended by her rudeness because as I mentioned before we have eaten there many many times and this waitress knows us. When I called back the same waitress answered. I asked to speak to the manager and she said the manager was not there. She was there a problem and I said I just had really bad customer service and she said "oh yeah with the drink" this made itcwirsw becausw she acknowledged that she knew she was rude! I asked for manager's name and she said " we don't give personal information " I asked for her name and she rudely said " Mary" I then told her I was very disappointed at her rudeness as we have been there so many times in the past. I asked her if she thought she was being professional. She said "I let you slide with the drinks before"( mind you she never once mentioned it was a problem and if she had we would have totally understood and my daughter would not bring in her juice). I told her it's not what she said but HOW she said it. She allowed three loyal customers walk out very unhappy and did not care. Never apologized for rudeness . I told her she was very bad for business. Mind you today we noticed that there is a sign on their door that says prices are increasing. If prices are increasing and service is very poor and quality not great this establishment will not last. I do not recommend it to anyone and this is from a loyal, very disappointed customer of many years. I hope " Mary" will read this and know that her customer service is unacceptable and that her manager is made...

I was in the area and decided to get a couple of appetitizers to go. While placing my order, I noticed a sign that said to the effect, "do not take your order/s from the counter without having it be given to you by a staff member. " I waited for about ten minutes and the hostess who took my order came to the counter and pretty much threw an order on the counter causing a loud noise. She immediately turned and went back to the food service area, waiting for more orders to come out of the kitchen. About 5 minutes later, a customer walked in and went straight to the counter to pick up her order without even checking in with the hostess. The hostess did not pay attention to what was happening at the counter either despite seeing the customer grabbing her order and leaving. The customer looked at me and I looked at her as she walked out. Several minutes went by and seeing the other customer take her order without informing the hostess I decided to go check if the order the hostess threw on the counter was mine and sure enough it was mine! I waited twenty minutes for an order that I could have gotten in half the time. Such terrible customer service. They take your money but do not care if you get your food or not. If you want it, check for yourself. To top it off, the food I received was even more disappointing. The shrimp and pork spring rolls were small, did not have mint, cilantro, cuccumber or any other veggies other than noodles, bean sprouts the tiny half slice shrimp and super thin slice of pork along with the lettuce as wrapper. The roll had NO flavor and so unappetizing. The food you get is not worth the money you spend. Needless to say, I will not be making another trip to this establishment...

as i breathe the air of life today, i am happy. yes, i make mistakes. yes, i may be wrong sometimes. i am not ashamed to admit i'm not perfect and nor do i strive to be. yet, everyday i do my best. although, i continue to believe that my best can always become better. i never stop making room for improvement. i am the daughter to two entrepreneurs, my parents. our family business is a growing one. because my parents came to this country with nothing, they raised me and my siblings with discipline. teaching us loyalty and respect, our foundation was built upon morals. today, we are proud to be a part of one of the biggest restaurant franchises in northern california. we are northern california's largest vietnamese chain restaurant with over a dozen locations. to have come this far after a lifelong struggle through hard times, we are truly blessed. i am satisfied in knowing i have a relationship with god. he is the most merciful. because he always seems to forgive me, i live life to serve others by the glory of his grace. he sent us angels who helped save my family from the burden and blessed us with a restaurant. in return, we provide food for our community and feed the hungry. i love this industry, it is so selfless. and for once in my life, i have never been so proud to say that i am a waitress. i am a waitress, and behind the apron i wear comes a powerful story of a family who never stopped believing, hoping, and praying. they say hip-hop is dead. what is hip-hop? all the raps about coming from nothing into something. my family...
