I am absolutely delighted to share my wonderful experience at Vientos Mexican Grill, nestled in the charming Pocket area of Sacramento, CA! This restaurant has truly captured my heart, offering not only delightful cuisine but also an upscale ambiance that sets it apart.
First and foremost, a shoutout to the amazing manager, Ash Khan. His dedication and attention to detail are truly commendable, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience is top-notch. The service is impeccable, and it's evident that the staff, under Ash Khan's leadership, is committed to providing an exceptional dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the food – and wow! The veggie burrito was a true masterpiece. Bursting with flavors and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, it was a culinary delight. The menu showcases a commitment to authenticity and excellence that is truly appreciated by someone who loves Mexican cuisine.
A pleasant surprise was learning that my favorite actor, Clint Eastwood, has frequented Vientos Mexican Grill. Knowing that such a discerning individual has chosen this restaurant multiple times only speaks volumes about the quality it offers. The fact that a Hollywood icon appreciates the culinary offerings here is a testament to Vientos' excellence.
The ambiance adds another layer of sophistication to the dining experience. The upscale atmosphere is perfect for a variety of occasions, whether it's a casual lunch or a special celebration. It's no wonder Clint Eastwood chose this restaurant over others in the vicinity – the combination of fantastic food and a classy setting is truly unparalleled.

Kudos to Ash Khan and the entire team for creating a dining destination that stands out in the Pocket area. I highly recommend Vientos to anyone seeking an unforgettable Mexican...
Read moreWanted to love this place since we live 8mins down the road. The actual restaurant has neat decor and spacious. We came in on a Thursday evening around 5-ish the dinner hour. The establishment was busy, but doable for 3 servers or so I think. We were acknowledged at the front door after a few minutes to grab a seat from a gentleman. A few moments later 2 other woman came to our table, one wipe it down and the other to serve us chips salsa and took our drink order. We look at the menu for 5mins and new what we wanted. But here's were it went downhill..... It took about 20mins maybe a few minutes more to get our order taken, I actually told the young lady who was our server that we were ready. She said our server was busy at the moment. At this point I'm guessing there was actually only 1 server, 1 bartender, expo and busser. She eventually made her way back and took our order because he/ our server was busy running around. Our food came out in about 10-15mins, then that was it. We never saw a server or busser again. I tried multiple times to make eye contact, which I was successful, but it was ignored. My husband and I even did the subtle hand up to try and at least get a refill of our drinks, which was acknowledged and never brought to us. Had to flag down a server for boxes... Had to flag down a server for check to pay. I understand being busy but to not table touch and at least say a simple "hey so sorry we're busy and short staffed, can I get you anything else to accommodate your meal?!" My husband made a valid point, we're not regulars that's what they haven't came back to us. Will we try them out again. I would like to so I can have a better experience and give a more reasonable review. Other than that the customer lacked l, the food was ok and...
Read moreFrom the moment I walked into Vientos, I knew I was in for a wild ride—mostly because the aroma slapped me across the face like a telenovela villain. I took it as a warm welcome.
Let’s talk cheese enchiladas. These aren’t just enchiladas; these are cheesy love letters baked in sauce and sent straight to your soul. Each bite made me question all my life choices up to that moment. Am I crying? No, it’s just the cheese melting my emotional defenses.
Then came the chicken burrito—a tortilla the size of a newborn, stuffed tighter than my jeans after vacation. The chicken was seasoned so perfectly, I’m convinced the chef whispered secrets to it before rolling it up. And the burrito didn’t fall apart! A Christmas miracle, but in August.
Beans and rice—the reliable backup dancers of the meal—except here they came out like Beyoncé’s lead vocals. The beans were silky and bold, the rice fluffy like it had a degree in cloud architecture. Together, they made me feel safe, like maybe everything will be okay after all.
But the real dark horse? The salad. I know, I know, you don’t go to a Mexican restaurant for a salad. But this dressing? I don’t know what it was made of—tears of angels? Jalapeño fairy dust? Some kind of tangy sorcery that made me eat every single leaf and seriously consider licking the plate. I didn’t. But I considered.
Service was as warm as fresh tortillas. I half expected the server to tuck me in and tell me I’m doing great at life.
So if you’re in the mood to be comforted, enchanted, and food-comatose’d, Vientos is your spot. Just don’t wear tight pants. You’ve...
