Phở Saigon Bay — Restaurant in Sacramento

I only write my experience on yelp if the service was really great or really horrible in this situation my experience was horrible! I have no issue with the food or the place. The food is good and the place is always very clean and nice. Anyway I had called in my order which was only 3 orders and a mocha shake. I got there like 15 minutes later everything was good they ask me what I order I repeated my order about 4 times they said it wasn't ready yet and to take a seat I said ok and I understood it wasn't ready no problem so I sat down with my daughter. A guy walks in like 10 minutes after me and said he had order through the phone as well he waits like 10 minutes gets his food and go and they tell him I'm so sorry for the wait sir so I keep waiting thinking maybe he had order before me I keep waiting for like 25 more minutes then another couple walk in saying they had order through the phone they wait about 10 minutes or less and get their order and then again they apologize for the wait at this point I'm already thinking they forgot about me and the lady ask me I'm sorry have u order I'm like yea like about 45 minutes ago on the phone she leaves and tells the others and they seem lost she makes me reappear my order again so I tell her again then another lady comes and ask me to reappear the order again smh it has been about an hour and my food isn't prepare yet once the person brings my food out he doesn't apologize or says anything about the time I waited there I'm in a process of moving so I looked like a bum when I walked in really bummy I usually don't look like that when I go there so they probably thought I was poor and forgot about me even though I had paid my food ahead of time as soon as I got smh. They never apologized and I know I looked bad I'm sorry but I was packing up and couldn't cook so I got take out I'm sorry u had to see me like that now I know how u guys treat people I'm never going there again and I'll tell everyone about my experience there so they can know what kind of people u are over looks smh I was so nice to u all from the minute I call since the minute I walked out even though I had a reason to be mad at the end when I had waited for an hour that's why I'm leaving this shitty ass feedback. Loyal customer for about 4 years never again...

Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Place! DOUBLE CHECK WHAT YOU ARE BEING CHARGE FOR! I recently dined at Pho Saigon DIRTY Bay, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was shockingly poor. Despite placing an order for tea and coffee, the drinks were completely forgotten. To make matters worse, when I received my bill, they still attempted to charge me for these drinks that I never received!

Throughout my visit, I noticed that the staff didn’t come back to check if everything was okay – not once. It felt as though they were more focused on rushing to complete their tasks than ensuring a pleasant dining experience for customers.

Additionally, I was horrified by the lack of cleanliness at the establishment. I observed the same servers who were handling food also picking up dirty dishes and cleaning tables without washing their hands in between. They even managed the cash register without any hygiene protocols, which is utterly unacceptable!

When I finally addressed the situation regarding the missing drinks, the staff member seemed confused and had to triple-check the table, even though a woman behind him had already apologized to me. It was frustrating to deal with such disorganization.

To top it all off, the quality of the food was abysmal. The noodles in my soup tasted old and undercooked – some were still hard and inedible, prompting me to remove them entirely from my bowl.

Overall, I cannot recommend Pho Saigon Dirty Bay. The terrible customer service and lack of cleanliness made my visit completely unsatisfactory. Save your time and money and choose another...

I liked how their pho tasted back when it was located at south Sacramento but now that they moved to north side somehow the broth tasted different. It’s not as good as before. Idk if they use cheaper ingredients or maybe less seasoning than before but it just tastes like any typical basic pho now. Which isn’t good because having the best pho is the only way to win from other pho places. Also on their rice plate they kept talking out the shredded pork and egg and just putting basic food on it now which makes the whole rice plate not even worth buying any more. Like why would I pay for a rice plate if I’m not going to get a variety on it? Ofc the customer service is trash bc they are rude, don’t refill water, I have to always get their attention to ask for sauces because it’s not on the table. When I do ask the old lady and old guy gets annoyed. Maybe it’s just a Vietnamese culture thing? Idc it’s a restaurant in America so get with it and also when I ask for fish sauce in a container when I order pick-up they get mad at me. See, maybe if it’s non-asain people they may not be familiar with how to season their pho but as an Asian person I know that we need all the sauce and ingredients possible to make the pho complete and good but the front got mad that I asked for 2 fish sauce and chilli oil???? Omg. The only reason why I am giving it a 3 star instead of 1 was because I knew their old spot from way back so for old times sake 3 star...
