This is in response to other reviewers, as well as my experiencers as a buyer and seller at Toy fusion. Toy Fusion is a consignment based store where people rent spaces within the store and provide and price their own merchandise alongside the main stores inventory. This allows a wider variety of selection within the store, as well as some price fluctuations depending on the vendors. Most of the store inventory is below eBay prices or around market value, while the individual vendors vary. The card dealer, who sells Pokemon, MTG and other lines is a Master Dealer and prices sometimes equal to or below other stores. The same seller also sells sets of Hot Wheels, averaging in the $30 to $40 range for the full set of 1-5 cars, such as Fast and Furious and other popular releases. The tags on those particular cars reflect the full set and not the individual cars, although there are other die-cast cars in the store that can range anywhere from 50 cents to $2-$3 or even some of the higher end exclusive, limited run, or vintage (Hot Wheels Redlines, Real Riders, Treasure Hunts, Lesney, Tomica) that can have a more premium price tag.
The store has a lot of packaged and loose Action figures, from vintage G.I. Joe to many 70's/80's/90's/10's and modern Star Wars figures, plus Transformers, 1:6 scale figures, Barbie dolls and other fun vintage Toy Lines.
They also sometimes carry cool Convention exclusives.
Go to toy Fusion expecting a fun ever changing assortment of Vintage and collectable toys.
They do not regularly sell items like modern board games, new puzzles (Although you might find cool vintage ones!) or R/C Cars and Drones.
I have bought many awesome toys for my personal collection and also sold other toys as a vendor. It is also a great hub to meet other people in the community and learn about their toy...
Read moreI am biased, being one of the vendors. I started as a customer around 2014 and began being a vendor/consigner around 2020 and helping out as a friend since 2018.
The store is a consignment based store, much like an Antique mall. There are a variety of vendor booths which allow for an electric array of toys at varying price ranges depending on the vendor. The person at the register will be able to help you look at any items in the cases. If the store is busy, it is usually in the order asked.
The main store also has its own inventory ranging from Star Wars to G.I. Joe, Hot Wheels and other vintage to modern toys.
I have also shopped at the Toy Shows and always find some cool stuff.
To reply to some other people's comments. Many of the people helping out are the consigners. If you see myself or anyone else and we are talking, feel free to interrupt. Customers should always be first. The store is also a community hub, so many fun conversations happen there.
Some of the props are on display as part of the museum collection. Feel free to look at them, but several are for display only.
I also show my art there, as well as other vendors who have art and Action Figure dioramas, which are also art. Some of it is available to buy, but please do not touch them.
Toy Fusion is a unique place and worth checking out in your Sacramento...
Read moreMy experience here the other was nice, the place has a lot of great hidden gems and things of the 80's which is awesome but the location is kinda over packed with independent sellers that have there stuff throughout, which isn't bad but if there is a missing tag then you'll have to come back when they are available.. The place is very dark, not a lot of great lighting to view everything, plus a lot of great things that are large that can't be fully displayed because of alloted space per independent seller.
Overall I loved the selection but I would love to see some people that don't appear "homeless" looking running the place and someone that can really give you the ultimate walk through if it was needed to find just what you want.
Thank you for another wonderful location to see all the cool things of my childhood Much...
