This is not the first time I’ve ever bought a mattress from Mattress Firm as I had purchased one for myself about a year ago in SF. On that occasion it was a happy moment and purchase for me. Unfortunately this purchase was needed immediately for my sister who was struck by a speeding car while crossing the crossing and was being discharged from the rehab facility in a week to recover for the next few months. I was in desperate need of an adjustable bed and needed one as quickly as possible and as cost effective as I could get it. I knew those 3 criteria would be near impossible to get during this time of the year. This was my first time at the Arden location and when I went in I was immediately met by the area manager, Justin Gordon. After explaining my sister’s situation and my dilemma, he began looking into his computer system for something that would fit my needs. He never tried to sell me something more expensive or out of the price range that I gave him. Justin was very kind and compassionate and really listened to what I needed for my sister. After several minutes of researching their inventory, he would give me updates on what was available and within the delivery time I wanted. He even went as far as to look for any sales or clearance items to try to get me a good deal as he knew this wouldn’t be a permanent thing for my sister. Ultimately, he was able to find me an adjustable twin size bed that would be delivered before my sister would be coming home and within the price range I had asked for. He even made sure to note the height of the bed that I needed to have on the sales order and reassured me that everything would be set up to my specifications. Even though it was the most horrible of circumstances that led me to go to this location and purchase this bed, Justin Gordon was by far the nicest, most helpful and compassionate sales associate that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
