Nice well-rounded and friendly location!

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this location. I had the pre-assumption that it was going to be overcrowded, tight, and with not many seating options. I was wrong. It had various types of seating, each with plug outlets close by. The feel is open, and because of the space and orientation of the tables, each seating area gives you a sense of privacy. Seating areas are well-lit with natural lighting. Music was a little loud, but it could have been where we were seating. The bench seating (think mid-back height restaurant booth comfort) was quite comfortable, allowing you the option of comfortably leaning back when you need a break from leaning forward (whether for eating or working). Both the single long table, as well as the smaller round tables have purse/bag hooks underneath.

There is one longer rectangular table outside for outdoor seating, in front of the entrance. Because it is on the west side, it was quite a bit more sunny and warm there. This is perfect for this time of year, but as the weather warms up, it may need to be adjusted...which they likely already do in preparation of the warmer season.

Parking is abundant, as Starbucks is on the end of the short string of stores and there is an entire parking just outside, both with spaces shaded with trees and non-shaded.

Staff was extremely friendly, even though this was our first time here. They made an effort to get to know me, and even though what I had asked for wasn't possible (de-caf iced coffee), they were real kind and even sympathetic about it. We stayed for a good part of the day, and actually would have opted to stay longer, but had other errands to run.

I went to the drive thru today around 6:30pm, and this very sweet beautiful lady named Dezi (or Dezy) I’m not sure how to exactly spell it, I should’ve asked (I’m sorry 😭), she took my order at the drive thru, She was the most sweetest cashier I’ve ever met. She completely understood my order, no mistakes, double checked my order and was the kindest person! She melted my heart and made my day so much better, it’s people like her that keep me going and we need more people like her. Not only was she patient, clear, kind and has a wonderful bubbly personality, but she also was so generous to give me Starbucks refreshers for being patient. Working at Starbucks is not an easy job! There’s so many orders, drinks, new workers, and different issues that arise etc,. But she was exceptional at her job and and not many employees are, they are usually sometimes grumpy, but I hope her managers sees this, because please give her a raise she deserves 110% of it. She was an absolute angel 🤍 Also if Dezi is reading this, thank you so much again, I know this is just a review, but you truly made my day better because I was having a rough week and our encounter, definitely lifted me up and made me so happy. Hello I am a realtor in elk Grove and came here today, Tuesday July 2, 2024, to study to renew my license. I was supposed to get a half-priced drink with the Starbucks app as informed by the very nice girl at the cash register, between 3 and 3:30 pm so I downloaded the app and proceeded to fill out all my personal information. The cashier girl had to leave and she instructed the big african american guy that took over the cash register, he was not very knowledgeable and/or honest with my order as he overcharged me (full price) on the drink, did not inform me about it and did not give me a receipt. I just happened to check the balance on my credit card on my cell phone, when I realized he had overcharged me. So he said he would refund me even though the drink was already made and sitting on the counter he refused to honor the half price offered by the previous cashier. He said they have the drinks that are not claimed, when I asked him!! Very much disappointed. Shouldn't the customers come first? I hope the owner reads this review and has a serious...
