I ordered the 1 pound head on shrimp. The shrimp was tough like it was overcooked frozen shrimp. Secondly, I only had 11 shrimps in my bag. When I got home, I noticed my bag was pretty small so I counted them knowing it’s not 1 pound worth of shrimp because these aren’t jumbo size shrimps. When I go to other seafood boil places they have 16-21 in their bags. When I got to the restaurant to pick up my order, it was not ready. I had to wait an additional 15 minutes on top of the 35 mins I walready waited. While I was waiting an associate in the back yelled out “this shrimp is not edible?” Maybe that’s why it took them an hour to get my order done? The place only had two tables with customers and each table had two customers on a Saturday night at 7pm. They weren’t busy. Definitely will never come back to this place. If you’re going to listen to any review let it be this one. As someone who is addicted to seafood boils, this is the best place in sac. That first bite of shrimp with some cns lemon garlic sauce is a bite of heaven. Like I don’t know what sorcery they put in there but it has me blowing a check every weekend and being happy about it. Best thing about life is good food and this is where it’s at. I always get peeled shrimp with crab legs and hubs gets mussels too and let me tell you this food is clean. That shrimp boody is wiped and ready to eat. There’s other places not saying names (BC) that feel so icky compared to this place. I come here so often they recognize me. I drive an hour and 20 minutes just to eat here. I have a problem but it’s a good problem. I love that it’s still a hidden gem so you always get seated right away. 1st and last time we are ever going back asian skinny guy help us. He was acting so friendly as if he was helping us and we get our bill total was $291 is ridiculous for all you can eat when its $39.99 with tax im aware of that smh plus food isnt all that great! Plus tips are being added to your total with out notice in advanced & was told kids don't eat much we dont have to pay for kids basket of choice it be free of charge since we are paying for 4 adults all you can eat price & plus we added extra $22 for tip with the already $42 tips that was already added to the recite that we weren't aware of how much at the moment!
