UPDATE: June 13, 2023 As of today, there has not been any follow up with this restaurant. I have contacted the owner several times. Looks like this business will not get a better review from me. They offer to "redo" my order then ghost me. It's definitely a ONE STAR for me. May 30, 2023 Hello Owner Can you let me know which day I may come in to have my food redone from my Mothers Day order? I called a few times and they staff said you were NOT available. I did not want to just show up without you knowing. Therefore, I am following up today. Please and thank you very much UPDATE: Owner contacted me today which was a pleasant surprise. I will be following up with him tomorrow to see if I can get my food re-made, then I will update my review.. Decided to treat myself for Mother's Day. Tried calling in my order, no answer 3x at 5pm..so, I decided to take the short drive. Placed my order for a combo plate. Friendly staff but only wondered why nobody answered the phone since there were two young staff members but only ONE customer inside. I take my order home and was highly DISAPPOINTED 😥..doordash recommends this place alot on their platform so I guess I was intrigued. My findings: Super dry weird colored rice, both the chicken and gyro meat were overcooked/burnt and taste like a dry sponge, some of the chicken was in lumps it was not fully cutt in pieces, the salad had brown lettuce, 2 thin raggedy tomatoes/onions. The hummus was ok, but pita bread was not warm or fresh as I assumed it would be. I'd love for them to recook my meal so they can gain me as a customer but for now, it's a HARD PASS. Did not finish the meal, it was just a messed up meal $15 on Mother's day. Pro tip: ask for that sauce on the side instead of on the meat/rice it make the food cold quick. I only am a 5m drive and food was cold by the time I got home..what a...
Read moreStarting off, food was tasty with decent portions. Everyone liked their dishes, so if everything else was good, I'd give them 5 stars. Gyro, chicken platter, combo platter, all excellent. Falafel platter was yummy and the hummus and pita passed the test of a friend who loves hummus but has high standards.
-1 star for missing food and accuracy of food: --Missing curly fries that I paid for, they were non existent, so there's $5 out the window. -- ordered food without sauces on them as two kids are allergic to dairy. One was caught on pickup and remade, the other wasn't and had a disappointed kid. Made him some chicken nuggets and picked off some food from other trays that he could eat.
-1 star for timing (issue partly with eat street recommended by restaurant for ordering) -- ordered at 5:48 pm, eat street said it'd be ready for pickup at 5:58. Arrived at that time and the order hadn't been started. Order was ready at 6:20 pm but had an issue with dairy in a dish so it had to be remade (that was quick thankfully, took 8-10 min). Means kids didn't eat until a little before 7 by the time we got home instead of an...
Read moreThis was my first time trying Falafel Corner, and unfortunately, it will be my last. From the moment I walked in, I was completely ignored—no greeting, no customer service, nothing. It took far too long for the food to be ready, and while I waited, I planned to eat inside. That changed quickly once I saw how dirty the place was. The smell inside was awful, and the dining area was so filthy I couldn’t even sit down—I had to go outside to eat.
I ordered the gyro lamb plate, and it was a complete disappointment. The rice was cold and looked like it had been sitting out for hours—possibly even reused leftovers. I also got chicken nuggets, and they were so dry and tough, they honestly seemed expired.
This experience was beyond unacceptable. I completely disagree with how this place operates and hope others take my honest review seriously. Don’t waste your money here. The city health department really needs to inspect this place—everyone deserves clean food, a safe environment, and at the very least, a little kindness when they walk into...
