The Sandwich Spot — Restaurant in Sacramento

I ordered delivery from door dash, and I am so happy with my order I needed to leave a review! This place is the spot. Everything was amazing. Their bread was amazing, best dutch crunch around. And even though I didn't go I had an amazing experience with their service. I put in the order with special instructions, I asked for no chicken as I am a vegetarian that doesn't want just veggies in my sandwich, I want cheese and sauce and only the very basic lettuce tomato onion options usually. They actually called me to clarify and felt generally concerned for my experience because the marinated chicken was the main component of the experience. They even offered to sub the chicken with avocado and add extra Swiss cheese. I was blown away. In a day and age almost every delivery order is messed up and special instructions are generally ignored, they went above and beyond to not only get my order right but help me make it better. I didn't want to rate this a two, but I've been in twice in the last week and the interactions were very mediocre. Don't get me wrong, the food is great, but the service is terrible. In a world where we tip for everything, it seems that better service would be mandatory. The people that work there aren't very friendly. I say this in comparison to the 18th St location where the folks are very pleasant. The other day I ordered a sandwich with no bacon and paid for a side of sauce. I received it with bacon and no side of sauce, let them know I couldn't eat bacon and was given a remake without my side of sauce about 15 mins later. The whole interaction was completely one sided, the employee said nothing to me. It made me kind of uncomfortable so I didn't go back to ask for my sauce. I’ve been there twice and both times they totally screwed up. I ordered 12 sandwiches online. When I picked them up they assured me all the sandwiches were there. I get back to work and find 3 sandwiches missing, so I called.. 5O FKNG TIMES!! and EACH the phone was busy. So I had to drive all the way back there to get the other sandwiches, but the stupid girl who put the Oder up in the first place left out the 3 sandwiches (which I had already paid for). So I had to wait for them to make the other 3. Then the girl said she’d give me a refund for the 3, which is supposed to go back on my boss’ card, and she gave me a full stamp card.. Then I realized I didn’t even get a stamp card in the first place after ordering 12 sandwiches! I shoulda already had a free one from the order alone!
