TL;DR: Strong coffee, well-priced, friendly (fun, and witty) staff -- Great new(er) coffee shop in the Land Park area. It's pretty easy to find/get to and parking is abundant. There's a park across the street that'd be perfect for sipping on a coffee and reading a book, etc. when the air quality cooperates. For iced espresso-based drinks, they pull the shot then let it sit/cool some in the cup before adding ice & add-ins (e.g. milk, water) to extract the strongest flavor, which I really appreciated. Nothing's worse than a watered-down coffee because the shot was pulled directly over ice. Prices were very reasonable. The man working behind the counter -- perhaps the owner? -- was super friendly and sarcastic (in a fun, jokey way). They have a stamp card (buy 10 drinks get 1 free) and you can *leave* your stamp card there instead of lugging it around in your purse/wallet. As someone who has (an embarrassingly large number of) stamp cards that I often forget to bring with me, I thought this was a cool idea. Regarding COVID-19, masks are mandatory, indoor seating is closed (though that may be in part because the seem to be renovating the inside some) but there is plenty of outdoor seating, not including the aforementioned park. It felt very clean, safe, and welcoming.

I ordered a bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich along with an oat milk latte. Service was good and they had a deal going where together they were both $11. I love a good deal but boy the food was not great. Bagel sandwich used cheap store bought bagels then completely flattened in a panini press. The sandwich looked, felt, and tasted lifeless. I asked for the latte with oat milk (cost an extra dollar). I’m not sure what brand of oat milk they used, but it was also not good. I drank half and poured it out. Left feeling like I had wasted $15 on a meal that tasted “cheap.” Super disappointing since it’s rated so highly on Google.

Had the DELIGHTFUL new salads in the cold case! That BEET salad tho - You gotta try it! Friendly, welcoming and funny owner who's hands on and has built a hard working team! I'm loving our local-owned food options lately and this has become one of our faves! Also pictured - the perfect lox bagel! Please excuse the half-eaten food 😂-we couldn't wait to dig in! Great coffee too- I could go on!

The iced mocha is amazing. You can actually taste the bitter of coffee and the sweetness of mocha all in one sip. The owner is super friendly. He seems to know his frequent customers' favorites. I am sure their breakfast toast is damn good as I saw some people just went in for that without getting the coffee. The store is quite spacious. Good spot to do some work on my laptop in the morning
