BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Saginaw Charter Township

Went in here to get a frozen teddy bear and waited 15 minutes for my drink. There was nobody in line but apparently 3 other customers were sitting in lobby for there drinks. There was a new worker who was working his butt off. Well a girl with dark black short hair with glasses was watching promotional videos in the back. She would take a order on cash register then sneak off to the back. Apparently she was in such a hurry to watch her videos that drinks were paid for but never got made. Due to her negligence of not telling the poor kid what the drink was. When the customer came back and wanted his other drink that was forgotten. She said oh oops the kid said oh I got your back and made the drink for her. Well she went back to watching videos. Neither workers were wearing badges. So I can't comment on there names but I was in the store in the afternoon on June 30th. The new worker was working his tail off well she was suppose to be training him and clearly wasn't. My drink was not the best but he did the best he could. He clearly is a very hard worker and the drink probably would have rocked. If this girl took the time to properly train him and help make drinks with him. So that customers didn't have to wait so long for there orders. Best service ever. I love biggby, but this was my first time stopping by this location, the next time I'm passing through I'll definitely be stopping by again. The young man who rang in my order was very helpful when answering my questions about ingredients on a menu item. With food allergies he went out of his way to make the menu item differently to my request so I could still enjoy it. Both employees had positive up beat attitudes, but it was pretty awesome when one employee said to the other "Your on the Verge of greatness, your like doing so great" Over all I had a great experience and was very happy with my visit, even with them being a little slower because they were busy and there was only two employees. Great product, terrible staff. Every time I have visited I’ve been greeted with a scowl. Only one out of 6 people that have taken my order this week has been even remotely friendly. The usual attitude here is annoyance at having to take my order and make me a coffee. Today when I went in, the girl behind the counter was in a huff because of something being wrong with the order for customer before me. She was so frustrated with them that she put my order in the computer wrong and got hostile when I stopped her from making me a hot drink when I wanted cold. She started slamming equipment and sighing loudly then handed me a coffee sticky and wet on the outside. I’m gonna try out the State Street location with their convenient drive thru.
