The Michigan Tap Room at Stardust — Restaurant in Saginaw Charter Township

The server is hilarious! He looks like the server from difficult people on hulu and has the same personality. His witty commentary is very entertaining. You could do a youtube channel just following him around. I thought the service was great, they were a team, both asking if we needed anything. Its kinda set up like cheers. Me and my husband have been here twice so far. The food has been hot and fresh each time. First time was new years eve and we had a blast bowling after. I had the quesadilla and he had the stardust burger. This time wr both had the early riser burger with bacon and an overeasy egg. It was so good. We both had the peanut butter chocolate nitro porter is was so smooth and went with the burger so well i highly recommend this combination of food. We went down to the arcade this time and played the justice League coin pusher. Racist bar. Server glanced at me, the color of my skin, and did everything possible to discourage me from sitting down in there with my friends who were yet to arrive. Treatment seemed to improve when they saw my friends were white. I confronted my server, an older guy, and he just gave excuses until I confronted him and asked if the other server thought I wasn't going to tip or be trouble. She was right, I was going to be trouble for a whole other reason! The female server literally basically told me to go to the other bar, which was more downmarket instead of allowing me to have the open table, since they don't even have reservations like other places. I've never experienced racism like this in Michigan. I usually experience that in the South! It's a shame, I used to think this was a pretty high class bar but it's actually just another low-class one in this dump of a town.

We had a group of 12 celebrating a birthday they gave us 1 lane due to only 6 were bowling, we ask if we could use the table next to us because Noone was bowling on the lane, the waitress said she had to ask, we only wanted it while we ate the food we ordered, the waitress came back and said that they told her we could not use the table because they had a group coming in, needless to say that table stayed empty for the whole hour we were there,[ along with 6 other lanes] shame on them, we had enough respect to ask before just grabbing it even though I was not in charge of this get together it was Disappointing, and very Unprofessional So no, I would not recommend this place if the whole party is not bowling, even though we all ordered food, I guess that wasn't enough for their business You all could of...
