December 18 was truly the last time I would ever step foot in Goodtimes Pizza ! Let me begin my review by saying these people truly don’t believe customers are in the right. I stop every Saturday for at least a couple years. This Saturday made it crystal clear to me the owner could care less about keeping and satisfying a loyal customer! 1. Called placed an order for a large pizza with green olives and bacon on half and other half pepperoni and mushrooms extra cheese on all. Went to pick up and the fella who came to assist truly has a terrible disposition! Have witnessed this In previous encounters with observing his interaction with other customers. Long story short 2 large pizza were made. … one had the green olives and bacon the other large pepperoni and mushrooms . What I suggested was I’d pay for one , which by the way was my order and in my head the decent thing for a kind business owner would be send me home with other pizza..it was their error. Especially because I get my mother who is in Hoyt a treat on Saturdays! I literally was told by 3 so called men … they would make me another one. The two would be thrown away! Unbelievable considering there are so many people that go hungry! What type a business owners would argue with a woman that has been a loyal customer for months! The real icing on the cake was when the fellow who took my money said he would make the pizza himself. When he didn’t know was I was watching him he went to the sink never used soap ran his hands under water then preceded to make my pizza. The owner acted like he couldn’t understand or follow what I was attempting to get across. Also he had no gloves on hands shaping the dough. Absolutely disturbing! Possibly I will give the health department a jingle to inform especially with all Covid-19 mutations a person who has been in the food industry for as long as they evidently have need to be a bit smarter. I can only hope no one ever gets treated as poorly as I have at Good Times Pizza in Green Acres. As a business owner the client or customer should always be right! I think the owners should be the example but these people obviously are not enjoying this line of work anymore and it really shows! Sincerely never coming back -go at...
Read moreThis is a first for me. I tried to order a pizza in the parking lot because I just shopped at Kroger and when I was leaving I saw their sign that said large 3 topping for 11.99 (?). The person taking the order said there was a problem and eventually got the female manager (don't remember her name). Sometime in the last 15 or 20 years or more, someone used my husbands cell phone to order a pizza and never came and picked it up. Firstly, the phone number is in my husbands name, not mine and we have had it for less than 5 years. Secondly, they couldn't tell me when this phantom order was placed and said they won't take my order until I pay them $9.53 (?) for an order someone placed sometime in the last 15+ years and never picked up. We are those strange people who rarely use our cell phone for anything like that, the few times we have ordered from there, we used our home phone number and came and picked up the pizza. This is one of the most absurd things I have ever heard. She can't give a date, time, person who took the order, absolutely nothing, but since someone put this in the computer they won't take my order. She told me she has only worked there 2 years, so it could have been someone before her, she just doesn't know. Absolutely ridiculous. I said that someone made some kind of mistake, and she said only a manager could do something like that (I don't know how long she has worked with computers, but I am positive that regular employees probably know or knew managers passwords-so anyone could have done this...
Read moreI've been eating good times pizza since I was a kid. I even have family that has worked there years ago. However I just had a horrible customer service experience. I ordered 4 pizzas for delivery as I have family visiting. Usually service is fast here, so when it was over an hour after I had ordered an the pizza had not arrived yet I was very surprised. I called Good Times, and spoke with the manager Blake. He told me that my delivery order was put with the take out orders so it had been sitting there. It was there mistake. He said he can have the pizzas sent over now, and I said I don't want pizzas that have been sitting there for 40 minutes. His only solution was to reheat the pizzas. No apology, refused to make fresh pizzas for us even though they messed up. The attitude in Blake's voice was quite unprofessional. What a shame. Sorry to the owners, this is not the first time you have had bad managers lose you business. I suggest getting someone with some common sense and basic customer service skills.
Update: reply to owner's reply. If that were the case, then why did your manager Blake tell us they mistakenly placed our pizzas in the Pick-up area? Why did he tell us he would warm them back up for us? Also, if that were all true, then I won't be ordering from you if I have to wait over an hour for a driver to be available to deliver. I don't have a son named Josh. ...
