I have never felt so unwelcomed at a fast food establishment as I was made to feel while visiting the drive thru here at 1:23 today, Thanksgiving. After being greeted and ordering, I was rudely told that what I wanted wasn't available because they were closing at 2 and the press was already off. So when I asked if another item was made on the press the girl annoyingly told me yes, as if I should know this already. I asked what food they did have and never actually got a clear answer. My daughter who was in the car was shocked at why she was yelling at us. I finally ordered something and the worker rudely told me I was ordering something that was usually pressed but that they would toast it. When she asked what side I wanted, I asked what they had. That's when she started yelling that they only had baked items and that I couldn't order kettle chips. Over all Tim's should be embarrassed. I worked in food service for 20 years and no matter what day it was, Christmas or some generic day I always gave good service. It doesn't matter what you would rather be doing. I'm in manufacturing now and if I have to work the holiday I don't decide that I'm going to do a crappy job because I have to be there and don't want to be. What happened to people who actually care about they're work? Btw the food I did get was old, the cheese was hardened on the edges as if the sandwich was made hours previously. The timbits were cold and hard. Very disappointed in...
Read moreCannot give this place a one star, only for the people who work mornings/mid day who are really nice and go above and beyond. Generally anytime after 2pm or 3pm service goes downhill along with quality. Just ordered a vanilla latte with an extra shot of espresso.
To give a back story, they make a lot of espresso at once and sometimes run multiple shots through the same espresso grounds and set it aside in a cup. And that is what they use though out the night so they don't gotta clean the machine at the end of the night. even though they got 5+ hours until they close. I know this because I use to work at McDonald's and scolded my coworkers for doing the same thing.
Now to get back to my latte, I literally seen the chick pour the cupped espresso in my drink and then pour in the milk and put it in the microwave to heat it up.
Now in McDonald's at least the kitchen is somewhat hidden but bro...everyone can see you putting my espresso in the microwave. Even one of the other customers gave me the "WTF" face.
Edit: Had to reduce from 4 to 2 stars due to robot response to my review. Morning people are still pretty...
Read moreThe Tim Hortons on State Street in Saginaw Michigan has horrible service. I would prefer to give them zero stars. We went through the drive-thru and tried to place our order at around noon. The girl proceeded to tell us that they were not serving food. I thought that I misunderstood her and asked " Did you say that you are not serving food?" She said( in an extremely rude way), "YOU HEARD ME BECAUSE YOU REPEATED IT! NOW DO YOU WANT ANYTHING ELSE!?" I said, "No, because I came to this RESTAURANT to order FOOD." We were then stuck in the drive-thru because we couldn't get out. When my husband pulled up to the window he asked to speak to a manager , but no manager ever came. They dared us to call a 1800 number. This is truly some of the worst customer service I have ever received. I hope that the corporate offices are aware of this rudeness. Also, I have no idea why they were not serving any food. They did not feel it necessary to explain why we wasted our time...
