This is a review on the McDonald’s on Bay by Weiss They are the rudest McDonald’s around. Not everyone there is rude and disrespectful but the managers are horribly rude and act like they hate their job and hate everyone who expects them to do their job. I had made an order online and had been waiting 15 min in my designated parking spot, so I called in to see why it was taking so long. Mind you not one car was in the parking lot or in the drive thru, It was 7 am, and I had made the order at home and drove there, plus waited 15 min! So I called to see what was the hold up- the girl on the phone acted like I was interrupting her and just abruptly said “ I’ll be out” and hung up. 8min later she came out with the food and literally threw it onto my lap and walked away. Not one word was spoken from her and she was the manager!!!! I had even said thank you and I was not once impolite. Even after all the waiting I was still polite on the phone when I called in to see what was the wait. I understand things happen. But I can never understand being that rude to anyone, especially when you are the manager! You are supposed to lead your team with a positive attitude. When I saw how rude and disrespectful she is, it makes sense why her whole team acts the same way. There’s a few who are still kind but not many. We have always loved Mcds but I will definitely never be going back to this one- at least not when she’s there. This is the third time (in the past few weeks) I’ve had a horrible experience with her or one of her team members. I will just be avoiding her shifts- if I see she’s the manager on I will avoid going there- and that’s a damn shame I have to do that. I plan on calling corporate on her and reporting this. I highly doubt this is how they want their McDonald’s ran. I doubt she gets paid to run off customers 🤷🏻♀️ And I’ve seen her rude with everyone- not just me. If you hate your job - QUIT. 🙄 And whatever you are going through at home- leave it there, when you come to work you are supposed to come with a positive mindset. I called the store to let her know that my Uber eats never delivered half of our order all we had was our sandwiches and she said “okay no problem next time you come through the drive through just tell them you spoke to Deb. So I figured Why not just go get our food tonight we rarely eat out anyways so we wouldn’t need too, or remember to use it another time. I showed up at 10 to pick up what was accidentally forgotten. I wasnt even upset because I know mistakes happen but what happened next blew me away. Deb was working back cash and we explained what the situation was not knowing who she was until after we got interrupted by her saying “yeah I looked on our front register after she called ( she being me in the passenger seat” and we show That the only food service used tonight was grub hub and door dash so that was not credible and I cannot replace those items. I did not say a word but hand over my phone to show proof that I had an order through Uber eats and showed the receipt. She took it in to the window and then said ok we can replace those but you’ll be waiting a along time for the pies just so you know and be pulling forward so we can park you until they’re done. It just seemed like we were such an inconvenience to her and that she was unhappy with her job. Ex. 1 They forgot one of my sandwiches in my order and I called back was being very polite and I could tell whoever answered the phone was irritated in their tone of voice. I even said she was being rude and she said she wasn’t. I’m not the one who made a mistake you guys are and I was simply just trying to get it fixed. I understand mistakes happen but what I don’t understand is their customer service. Ex.2 I was waiting at the drive thru speaker for at least 10 mins granted they were busy that day so I understood, I did not get greeted in that time at all so I said “hello” and whoever got on the speaker gave me a rude response. I worked in fast food when I was younger and it’s my understanding that you are expected to greet people within a certain time frame when they are at the speaker. I totally would have understood if they just said they needed a minute because they were busy but instead I get a rude remark. If this has happened to me multiple times here seems like the people that work there need a refresher on customer service.
