OMG!!! This was the worst visit that I have ever had. My sister and I went and got the same meal that we always get and here was all the problems in order: server Abbie, got the drink order wrong 3 times, I had to ask for the first round of biscuits, she then remembered that she forgot to get out salads for us. We ask for 2 extra ounces of crab (it cost extra, per ounce) in our linguine and only got one. The entree came out before the appetizer, and wasn't hot. I then asked where was the appetizer, she said oh sometimes it takes longer than the entree. Went back to check, it was there, piping hot, so we started eating that instead of the entree. I asked if I was getting half off because the entree coming first and she told me ok. I then asked for water since we never got any in the first place. After that our biscuits ran out and I had to ask for more. I then asked for the check. She brought it and the appetizer wasn't discounted. I told her about it and and she looked at me and said "oh would you like for me to remove it", I didn't say anything just handed the check back to her. So we packed up our food, I had two boxes and the biscuit bag, my sister had one box. She brought the bill back and grabbed the small tip that we left on the table, and left all the plates in front of us... So we're sitting there with boxes in front of us, with no bag to carry them in. We grabbed our stuff, asked for bags at the hostess counter and left. The manager was right there, but the dinner rush was too, so we decided to call corporate and report it there. $59.00 for the worst dining experience ever. Also a lousy $4 tip for lousy service, but since we needed her to grab our food, there you go. I pretty much had to ask for every part of our meal!!! I'll be going to Bay...
Read moreI ordered a to go order to pick up at 5pm. I arrived at 445 pm and there is a long line of cars that extends out to Bay rd. and a number being displayed to call for pickup orders. I call the number over and over and over, with no answer. After literally 45 minutes, I finally reach the parking lot of red lobsters where I am greeted by a woman with a clipboard. She slowly walked over and asked how could she help me. I told her that I am trying to pick up an order that I was scheduled to pick up at 5 and that I’ve been trying to call the number being displayed everywhere. She then proceeds to tell me that they CUT THE PHONE LINES and that I have to sit and wait for a phone call from them telling me that my food is ready. I told her that I’d like to cancel my order because it’s been close to an hour at this point, she told me that she would not cancel my order because they “...don’t do that.” . So I either have to sit and wait for as long as they feel like having me wait, or I can choose to lose out on 70+ dollars not including the money I’d have to spend on different food. It is 6:24 as I am writing this and I am still siting here in the parking lot of red lobsters. I’ve never been a fan of red lobster because, above all else, the customer service here is consistently horrendous. Today I tell my wife that it’s okay because today is Mother’s Day, and of course, in typical red lobster fashion, the service(or lack of) is so terrible that it has ruined our night. Right now as I write this, people are crammed at the front door wondering what is going on. It’s Sunday may 10th. The employees working that day did everything possible to make things difficult. We will...
Read moreWent out for Christmas Lunch with my little family. (Fiancé, our son, myself) Had a decent meal as in good quality, nothing to really complain about there. The nerve of the waitress we had though was appalling. She was nice but honestly it was subpar service. It was kinda busy so it was whatever. I didn’t receive my coleslaw with my meal, my son didn’t get his apple juice. I wasn’t charged for the juice but still kind of an annoyance but it was not worth complaining over. Stuff was taking away and wasn’t gonna keep waiting for it. Got our bill, packed up our leftovers. Put almost exact bills down for the check. Left over was roughly 30 cents. Waitress thanked us and said she would be back with the change. Fiancée said it was fine. I covered tip and placed $9 from purse on table and we packed up our son and headed out. Our waitress then ran out at us to the parking lot complaining that we only left her 30cents. I told her that, her tip was left on the table for her. She then tried to back track saying “oh.. I knew you were nice.” She obviously didn’t even bother to go look. I called management once we were in the car. The manager on duty was very nice and understanding in my frustration over our waitress chasing after us to the parking lot. She seemed very concerned over the behavior so hopefully something is done to make sure that behavior is not tolerated and no other guests have to feel attacked the way my family and I did today. I understand waitress are tip based but if you can’t handle an income that varies and is tip based then maybe a different job needs...
