Simply marvelous food, impeccable service, and a cozy atmosphere with romantic ambiance and full table service. This is was my first time sitting down in a year if ever, but I found myself craving some authentic Indian cuisine that is gourmet, healthy, and free of chemicals and preservatives due to my allergies and dietary needs. The food was great and well portioned. I had a variety of entrees including a soup of mulligatawny with fresh ginger, vegetables and many herbs/spices. I followed this by lamb Kodak with a side of garlic Nan and an iced tea. This is some of the finest Punjabi style Indian food this side of the Mississippi River and it competes with the finest Indian restaurants in Washington D.C., Chicago, Detroit, Miami, NYC, and Atlanta. I also highly recommend the Kheer rice pudding and the Goat Biryani which is very authentic and well seasoned. Outstanding!! I left feeling happy and refreshed rather sluggish and tired like so many Chinese and Mexican restaurants. I’m impressed, will be back, and highly recommend this place to everyone. If you ever drive through Saginaw make sure you save Taste of Punjab in your GPS!! I drove 30 minutes and so glad I did. 😀 I ate all the Biryani and Lamb Kodai. Sorry I forgot to save a picture but you can see my amazing soup. Thank you Taste of Punjab!

There aren't enough words to describe just how AMAZING & TASTY this food is! We wanted to try something new, so we chose the Behl Puri. WOW, glad we did. I'm picky, AF, but how I've never known about this before, idk. It has puffed rice, like rice krispies, cilantro, veggies maybe, chutney, a few peanuts even. So many flavors, little sweet, little tangy citrus. It's unlike anythikg else I've had, sort of like a drier Indian chevice.... You do need to eat it right away, it wouldn't be good later due to the puffed rice getting soggy. But definitely a MUST TRY! Try with mint chutney! The garlic naan was fabulous! Airy, & light, crispy yet sometimes chewy & moist. My fav part, my main course, the Chilly Paneer. Yes that's how they spell it. Wow. Full of flavor. Crispy, crunchy outside, with a soft & moist paneer inside. SooOoOoOoo tasty!!! So much flavor!!! Our waiter brought out some Tikki masala sauce to try, that was really good too! 20/10!!!!! My favorite Chilli paneer by far ever ! Next I will try their Gobi Manchurian.

Despite the great recommendations we got, we were a little hesitant when we first arrived. The restaurant is very dark inside. There were tiny flies (see photo of one that landed in my water) pestering us while we waited for our food. The food though, was absolutely AMAZING. This was the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The portions were large, the chicken pieces were cooked perfectly. The garlic naan bread was delicious. The attached pictures show how much food was still left on our plates after we were full, plus bowls of rice. We will definitely be back, the next time we're in Saginaw. We're looking forward to trying more items on their menu. I highly recommend the food here.

An unforgettable experience! Taste of Punjab is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Michigan — and certainly the most authentic Indian cuisine in Saginaw.

From the moment you step through the door, you're welcomed like family. The warmth of the staff, the inviting atmosphere, and the incredible aroma of spices immediately let you know you're in for something special. It truly feels like a home away from home.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish bursts with rich, vibrant flavor and is clearly made with care and tradition. From perfectly spiced curries to fresh naan and flavorful tandoori, you can tell this is more than just a restaurant — it’s a labor of love. The Punjabi twist they bring to traditional Indian dishes adds a uniqueness you can’t find anywhere else.

Whether you’re dining in, grabbing takeout, or catering a special event, Taste of Punjab delivers. Their passion for food and hospitality shows in every bite and interaction. This place is not just a local gem — it’s a cultural experience wrapped in comfort, tradition, and soul.

Highly, highly...

A Hidden Gem for Authentic Indian Food! 🌟

We happened to stumble upon this gem of an Indian restaurant—and what an incredible find! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who truly made us feel at home. The service was absolutely fantastic attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. We ordered a variety of dishes: Chole, Kadhai Paneer, Aloo Paratha, Garlic Naan, and Roti. Every single item was spot on flavorful, fresh, and so authentically Indian. You could tell the food was prepared with love and attention to detail. Each bite was a perfect reminder of the rich, comforting flavors of home-cooked Indian meals. To top it off, they even prepared fresh tea just for us and it was amazing. The balance of spices and warmth was the perfect ending to a beautiful meal. Honestly, it's rare to find a place that gets everything right, but this one truly does. After a long time, I’ve found a restaurant that delivers such a delicious and authentic Indian dining experience. Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the region.

Highly...
