Not a bad restraunt. But I am extremely disappointed with the employees. I went into the restraint with my cell phone, and when I had left I realized it was gone. I called coco loco to see if they could check our table and the bathroom for it, they looked and said they couldn't find it. All I could think was we have to go look...we get back and look in the parking lot, the car, look everywhere. Throughout this process the phone calls I made to my phone were being ignored after two to four rings. When we arrived they fully stopped ringing(someone finally turned it off). I go inside to ask one more time if anyone had turned it in because I had a strong feeling it was there, and that someone had it. I went into the bathroom and checked everywhere and found it behind a trash can placed perfectly sitting up in a stall I didn't even use. And turned off. My phone was on when I had it last and has a full charge. The phone calls I made to ot during the period were deleted. I have strong suspicion to believe my waitress "samantha" did this and got scared when I arrived back to retrieve it.
This was at the bay rd. Location in saginaw. To anyone planning to go to this establishment, please watch...
Read moreTo be honest growing up In a latino home I did have high hopes....did. The atmosphere definitely catches a cantina like vibe about but unfortunately let's talk about the food.
The feeling of being in a fully authentic latino restaurant were Immediately dashed after my taste of their chicken chimichanga had my mouth filled with bland chicken and uncooked onions which had overpowered any taste it could have had. The beef was decently seasoned but I would only call it average compared to something I could get at a grocery store in the freezer section. To clarify my order consisted of a beef and cheese quesdilla, two chimichangas (one beef and one chicken), and a virgin Pina colda. The quesdilla was pretty good but I felt it was underwhelming for the 10$+ dollars you spend on it. The two chimichangas had a great presentation but the chicken one should be avoided at all cost . I wish I could comment on my Pina colda but it was severed to me in a block of ice like state making it impossible to drink.
Coco Loco has the look but none of the flavor with a wait staff that tries their hardest to appeal to...

The food was spot on and delicious, with the stuffed peppers being the best I've ever tasted. Chips and salsa, Mmm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back and recommend this place to others who enjoy Mexican cuisine!
2024: Prices went way up. $67 for 2 meals and 2 kid meals with 1 drink and 2 kids drinks. Food was great! Service was terrible. They were busy, but our waitress ignored us or forgot about us. No drink refills, never checked to see if we needed anything. I had to flag her down to order after waiting 20 minutes. Had to flag her down to get boxes and our check so we didn't sit there all night waiting for her to never come. She brought boxes but no check. So after 20 more minutes after requesting our check I got up and went and requested our check again. State street location is...
