New China Restaurant — Restaurant in Saginaw Charter Township

Ordered on doordash.. you might like the prices they show. But maybe you shouldnt? Maybe.. the food quality is better when you pay more. I really hate giving this review because it looks like a traditional Chinese restaurant, unfortunately I would have to give Panda Express a higher rating.. the food here is low quality chicken.. you can taste it. No flavor in the lo mein (and huge spaghetti noodles) BUT ZERO FLAVOR AT ALL. The fried rice or fried with shrimp option.. NO flavor in the fried rice.. and here the best part.. 2 shrimp. Literally. Lol. Like is it comical Chinese food? In all honesty, and again I really don't like saying it. I ate four pieces of the orange chicken, three bites of the "lo mein," most of the fried rice, looking the shrimp and then regrettably I didn't waste food. Gave it all to my puppies. Wanted delivery, said i needed to spend 15 plus. I understood so i asked if i could get more rice, they said cream cheese was less expensive, i said i didnt care, but id rather have more rice, realized rice was only 50 cent more, wish they would of explained this to me, but girl on the phone didnt speak much english and had me repeat everything. Im not difficult and understand the situation but wish she would of explained to me instead of sounding annoyed by me asking questions. I work at a restaurant so i get it. But if a person at my place didnt want something i would explain alternatives. After i said i really want rice they told me they had already thrown down cream cheese and i had to purchase it. Ordered online and when I got there a few minutes before the time shown when it would be done and no one was at the counter, so I had to wait a few minutes. Finally got helped and she said she could see my order (100% lie) and wanted me out of the way to help the person behind me. After going and sitting down for a good 10 minutes, she asks if I was a different order from what I ordered. She went to the back and then came back and had to take my order over again. Absolutely no excuse for that. Never returning again. Still haven’t got my food but I made the mistake of paying for it and now have to wait for it to be ready.
