Rico's Authentic Mexican Take — Restaurant in Saginaw Charter Township

Sign said "Hard or soft tacos $1.49". They lied. Soft corn shells are $.30 more-$1.79 each. This is the second time in a row we received bad food from them. The first time, I asked for soft corn shells and received flour. This time, the soft corn shells were undercooked and the taco's fell apart when we were eating them. We used to like this place, but since they remodeled they aren't as good. Maybe because we can't see what they are doing??? Not sure, but I guess I should thank them, though, because we now found our new pick up taco place-RAMONS Taco Hut-602 N Washington Ave Saginaw, MI. Their soft corn tacos are only $1.29 and delicious. The tamales at Ramon's were better, also. The first time we got them from Rico's they were really good. We've ordered them twice since then, and the corn meal part is hard. Ramon's twice so far has been really, really good. So save yourself some money, and get better food from Ramon's Taco Hut...

Honestly shocked and disappointed at how rude the manager/owner was to me. I ordered a small single nacho as it would be for just myself on my way into work. They made a double by mistake (no big deal) I told the cashier that wasn’t what I ordered. The lady who owns the place and the lady who took my order come out and asked what’s the problem. First off not a way to greet a customer. I explained the situation and how I was willing to wait for my correct order to be made. She said that is not the policy and she would have to throw the food away and proceeded to try to raise her voice for what reason I'm not sure. I told her I understood but she’d have to throw the food away if I just left the food and went elsewhere. She said ok have a nice day bye. Just not sure why they felt they handled that appropriately especially since I was STILL willing to wait and pay for...

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been in Saginaw for about 8 months now and I must say all the food choices suck. I love Mexican so my wife suggested this place and I'm VERY picky about my food but I said ok why not. Man I wish I hadn't. We got the nacho tray or whatever you call it here and we began serving. I'm looking at it like idk but tasted it anyway. NO FLAVOR. Ok fine, so I grabbed one of the sauces they give you with it. I open it and start to pour...what do I notice...A FRIGGIN LONG HAIR. I was disgusted. What a waste of $22 and some change because at this point I didn't want none of the food. Ended up ordering dominos. I don't even want nothing replaced cuz I will NEVER eat here again but dang Rico's can I get my money back? I mean c'mon guys what is up around Saginaw? I mean who wants hair in their food. Money...
