Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Saginaw Charter Township

Absolutely love these smoothies and the collagen protein add in .. extra strawberry and chocolate to the Bahama moma makes it much thicker+ tastes great. Food is really good as well. Only complaint with this place is the price is high and your rewards from the app .. specially for downloading their app. Your rewards/free smoothie does not show up in the app .. only by email and you only get 7days to figure this out and use the "reward" .. to me that's a scam. Personally I don't live in the city or use my email daily. Nowhere does it say nor thought to check my email for app rewards. Rewards for the app i'd think would always go directly on to the app .. not supply a scan in your email to bring in to use. I figured it was an error with my app showing no rewards for my first purchase or for downloading the app. Come to find out ½ was false information and a scam to get you to download their app. Then after spending$20 for a roll up and drink my free smoothie never showed up in the app. I dropped in the next time I was in the city to ask the manager what happened with these offers for a free smoothie for downloading and for my first order. I only received one of the promised rewards but it didn't show up on the app. The manager had me open my email then told me the coupon had expired the day before after it wouldn't scan. Why have a rewards app .. if they don't put rewards onto the app. I gave the share code to my friend when they uploaded the app and that reward did show up on my phone app .. so for fair warning check your email for rewards not you app + ½ the claims of rewards are false. I spent $20 on a wrap and drink for 1 because of the rewards they claim to offer but never received the reward. My email doesn't always work in a timely manner nor have I ever had to use my email to use a fast food app before. They could have added my rewards directly to my app, like they did after my friend made his first order. To me that was a complete scam .. I wouldn't have eaten if the rewards weren't mentioned .. the manager should have been apologizing for the rewards not showing up in the app and provided the rewards after discovering the 1 not 2 wasn't showing up in the app. Nowhere does it say you only get 7days to use a hidden reward neither. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. I'd like to go more often but with their cost and false & misleading promises .. it's not worth my money nor time going into the city for a smoothie.. they are big but not worth over $10 for 1. It is healthy eating and good but I won't support scammers or scamming for personal gain. You use the app for the app .. not use my email to use the app, that's dumb .. why have the app if ya go through your email to have it become useful. I can much easier call to order ahead without the hassle of finding a link in my email to bring in to receive short term & time sensitive benifit's. This is not something most can afford to do regularly .. really not worth the money in the end these days. That really stinks. I've never experienced an app this...

My smoothies are always great. I tried the green bowl and it was great. Will get it again and try the others.

4 days a week, I go into TSC in Saginaw Michigan, on state st. I ordered the same thing. A avacoloda smoothie and a 3 cheese chicken with Chipotle sauce.(super delicious) Yesterday was no different, except, the cashier spoke and took my order. I then asked her about the app, because I come often and I would like to earn points, she stated she did not know how it worked and it I go to my play store I can download the app and it will explain it to me! Wow. Ok. I received my order and took off. A mile down the rode I take a piece of my quesadilla. After pulling the entire back off onto the wax paper, when I bit into it, it was like a chip. Crunchy and flat. I bit another one. No meat, barely any cheese. I turn around to return it. I asked the young lady, could it be remade because, (of the issues listed above) she stated sure. Someone loudly in the back said "It said cheese!!. At this point a customer walked in. The person that was redoing my my meal (was the "Manager) young lady with dark hair on the shorter side. She seemed very irritated that she had to remake it and it made me uncomfortable. She walked out to had it to meand I said "Thank you" she walked away and said absolutely nothing. I was never rude so I did not understand her frustration. I sat at a table to look at my food, even though my break was winding down, and I'm glad I did. I opened it and to my surprise, she had not pressed it long enough for the cheese to melt and my chicken was cold!! My feelings were hurt because at this point I felt targeted! When I asked for the manager, the already irritated young lady came up, looked at me and said NOTHING when I showed her the meal!!. I said I'll just take my money back, DHE HANDED ME MY MONEY AND AGAIN SAID NOTHING!:( Please review the cameras. I have never felt so bad in a restaurant and more customers were there by now! Ordered a delivery order from Tropical smoothie on State Street Saginaw MI. Immediately received a text and a Email that our order would be at our house in 45 minutes. So, then we get a message our order will be here in a minute, then a text they delivered our order was delivered. I call the delivery person, she said No one answered the door...WHAT!! We are here & no food. Then a girl said, she is around the corner. Then, no order. All lies...Then, she comes to our door & tells me she is sorry but nobody touched our order bc nobody was at the house that she left our order 20 minutes ago. Cold food and smoothies are like water.
