Blue Mound Donut — Restaurant in Saginaw

Sooo upset with this place. Donuts are fine not better than anywhere else. I like the decorated donuts so I thought they would be a good to to SPECIAL ORDER for our 4 year olds POLICE themed birthday party. I went in a few days ahead of time let them know I wanted blue and yellow then a variety. I specifically asked if they had yellow because there was nothing yellow in the case. I was told yes and that the girl decorating used to decorate cakes. So “she had me”. 3 days later I go to pick up my donuts INSTEAD of doing a traditional cake. I go in and get orange donuts not yellow, I was told that was their yellow. Then they offer nothing to fix the ORANGE not yellow Halloween looking donuts. The variety box was a lazy choice of only frosted. I get home and the 3rd dozen of blue and white were decorated with snow flakes. This order was not AT ALL taken seriously, she knew my theme was police and I got orange and winter decorated. Go get your donuts there but DO NOT order and expect anything special from them she could have cared less. My daughter picked off all the snowflakes and we went and bought other sprinkles and added them ourselves. I do amazing birthday parties and had much higher expectations for these donuts. MY BAD it is only a donut place. I was just hoping some effort would have been put in for our little guys day!!!! Won’t go back for even...

I've been to this location twice and I haven't had pleasant experiences either times. Its surprising to write a negative review on a donut shop but here I am. Both times we have been there is a young lady who works the front who has been so rude and curt. Not friendly when greeting, acts as if it's an inconvenience to serve a customer and is curt. My first time - I bought two glazed donuts, one dozen donut holes one breakfast burrito and a chocolate milk. I handed her a $10 and she gave me back $1 and some change. I immediately was baffled that it cost that much, and I asked for a receipt. Her response? Sorry too late. I was shocked but said okay thank you and left.

Today we made our second visit at around 5:30 am. There were little to no donuts ready or available and I asked if she had any glazed donuts. Her response? "No you can see there isnt"

I said "When will they be ready?" Fortunately a kind lady from behind came out and said to hold on one second and she made me two fresh donuts. I go to check out and again the young girl is just most negative thing ever.

We won't be back which is unfortunate because who knew you could go wrong with...

I waited 10+ minutes at 6:30am for donuts. (Hire more people one person is not enough). Once I finally was able to place my order, I paid almost $27… after getting back home I realized I paid $27 for 2 sausage rolls, and 4 donuts. They left out HALF of my whole order. With a line almost out the door I can see the lady getting overwhelmed a little since she’s the only one working and that could be why she didn’t bag the rest of my order but not happy that HALF of my order was missing entirely and unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened so at this point I am not sure if charging someone full price and leaving half their order out is a regular thing for these people or not.
