Pho Real ( Saginaw ) Vietnamese Restaurant — Restaurant in Saginaw

Was excited to have a Vietnamese restaurant open nearby. Love Vietnamese food. The pho is delicious. Enjoyed it. But they charge a 3.8% convenience fee. This is the ONLY restaurant I've ordered from that does it. Not sure if the convenience fee is because I order the food for pick up. Either way, I think it's tacky. So, be mindful of this if you plan to order food for pick up.

Updated: we order from here often since it open. We are loyal customers and want it to be here for the long haul. The food are always consistent in taste and portion. Our usual are the pho special, Korean ribs and the combo egg noodle soup. Well today it was not. There was a change in the taste. The broth was water down. Less flavor. Less portion. I just saw the owner treat the waitress like garbage. I was dumbfounded. Then I found out that they take some percentage of the tip and pay them less than the minimum wage. This was absolutely disgusting and then I peeked inside to see what was going on. Messy kitchen. I used to work here, and I was bullied. My tips were divided among people who didn't work, and I only received $4 per hour . They keep our tips and only give them after two weeks of work. A portion of the tips has been taken away, and they say the tips are divided evenly among everyone, even when they don't work . Finally got back to DFW after working on a cruise ship for 7 months and I knew I wanted something I hadn't been able to have while overseas: Pho. I hadn't been to this specific Pho restaurant before but it was close by and my Fiance had said it was good. It absolutely hit the spot. I got the combo bowl with added meatballs. I always try to ask for the extra fat to add in and they happily gave me some. I was so excited to have Pho again that I actually managed to finish the whole bowl, broth and all.
