This is the message I sent to Subway via online form last night, 2/16/25. An absolutely asinine experience. I have not heard back from Subway Corporate offices yet, so I’ll be reaching out again and also to governmental regulatory agencies. Extremely lacking in education and customer service and would be much better off having high school students working there than the people they currently employ. They are committing theft by fraudulent transactions, and it appears to be routine.
I would appreciate a call back from a service representative. We were over charged. Had one employee tell us to come back tomorrow. although we do not live in TX. Then, she called two more employees, I’m not clear if they were gaslighting us or completely incapable of cognitive thought processing. We were overcharged by $8, and they don’t seem to have a clue and certainly don’t care. We recorded audio conversation via video on a phone and between that and the receipt, it’s very clear there is a HUGE problem at this location. We also just looked at the Google reviews, and it looks like this is not an isolated incident, but rather an ongoing characteristic at this location. I am not a cerebral narcissist by any means, but I have a degree in finance and I’m 57 years old, so I’ve had a great number of subway value meals, yet they kept stating things like, “can you have Alicia explain it to them,” as if me and my restaurant manager daughter are incapable of understanding or doing simple math. I want my daughter’s card refunded for the overcharge and I want to know that SOMETHING is being done to resolve the issues at this location, or I’m tempted to report this infraction to local, state and federal regulatory services. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS. They are RUDE and condescending, and really don’t sound like they have the education to be speaking in such a derogatory tone. Additionally, we tried to order online in advance, but the website was having issues. I don’t know if that was a bad thing, (even thought they tried to say that that was why we were over-charged) since looking at Google reviews it seems people who order online don’t get their food nor a refund, even when they present their receipts. What exactly is going on with this location?? I’ve NEVER had to complain about a subway and I’ve been eating Subway for over 35 years!! What is going on?? It was supposed to be two meal of the days upgraded to footlong, and the total is $32.48 with 4 items on the receipt. Riddle me that. And remember, we have audio of both phone calls the employee made on speaker phone, but not her initial comments dismissing us and our concerns. Terrible service. Really AWFUL...

THEN GOT THERE AND THE FOOD WAS NOT EVEN READY. THERE WERE NO CUSTOMERS INSIDE SO I WAS CONFUSED ON WHY IT HADN'T EVEN BEEN STARTED. .... THEN AFTER WAITING EXTRA TIME WHILE IT WAS PREPARED ANOTHER CUSTOMER ARRIVED FOR AN ONLINE ORDER AND HIS WASNT STARTED OR READY EITHER. .... FINALLY GET THE FOOD. MADE IT HOME. GAVE EVERYONE THEIR FOOD TO DISCOVER THE SANDWICHES Weren't EVEN PREPARED CORRECTLY. I PAID FOR EXTRA THINGS DIDNT RECEIVE THEM. ONES THAT WAS ASKED TO BE TOASTED WERE NOT. MY SANDWICH WASN'T TOASTED BUT THE BREAD WAS SO HARD I COULDN'T EAT MOST OF IT. DIDNT HAVE MEAT ON PARTS OF IT. MISSING VEGGIES. THE KIDS SAID THEIR BREAD WAS HARD TOO..... SPENT ALMOST$50 ABD COULDN'T ENJOY. THEN CALLED TO COMPLAIN GOT NO ANSWER FOR DAYS. CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOLLOWED THEIR INSTRUCTIONS STILL NEVER HEARD FROM THEM. NEVER GOT ANY RESPONSE FROM ANYONE ABOUT MY COMPLAINT. . AS AN EX EMPLOYEE OF SUBWAY IM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UNSATISFIED WITH THE WAY THEY HANDLE CUSTOMERS WITH ISSUES. SMH. When he got there, it was not ready and he asked the employee working about our order. She stated "if you ordered online it would be over there with the online orders". Her tone was extremely rude! She didn't believe him that we ordered online, so my husband tried to show her the receipt with payment confirmation and order number and everything we ordered, but she refused to look at it. My husband asked her multiple times how to get our order and she said she didn't know. He asked how to get a refund and she told him "it's my first day, I don't know". My husband asked her to call her manager and she said she didn't know the manager or their phone number. She told him that she couldn't help him. He asked her what her name was and she refused to give him her name. We just want our money back and the rewards we put towards the order!
