I’ve been a huge fan of Chicken E for 15 years. But the quality and service have consistently declined as the price has consistently risen. I’m fed up with it and won’t be eating here any more.
Last time I went, I sat in the drive through for 25 minutes and then paid $15 for a single meal, only to get home and find they forgot the gravy, which is their trademark dipping sauce.
Tonight I went though again. I asked the lady taking my order, “how are you?” She responded with an annoyed look and only said 1 word, “tired”. Ok, fair enough. I did ask.
But then I again pay an exorbitant amount for a single fast food meal (which would probably be worth it if they hit their highest quality mark consistently), and get home to find that my mashed potatoes are covered in gravy that is so thin and runny, it’s shaking around inside the casing like liquid. It could literally be mistaken for water. The potatoes are inedible. The roll is partially burned and the chicken looks like it’s been under a heat lamp for an hour. They also used to always give you 1 extra tender (which helped make up for the high prices), but have ended that tradition. Now I get 4 shriveled, shrimpy looking tenders to go along with my watery mashed potatoes and burned roll for $12. Screw that. Cane’s is cheaper, has way more consistency on the product, and 10x the service.
The worst part is that I try to call them multiple times to make a complaint with the manager and they of course don’t even answer the phone. It seems like they literally hire off the bottom of the barrel. They are trying to make McDonald’s and Taco Bell their competitors instead of Cane’s and Chick-fil-a. Fine. You do you. But you’ve lost a life long customer and I’ll be sharing my experience with...
Read moreWell, the new spicy chicken tenders are amazingly delicious. Seriously, you need to try them. However, the menu prices have gone up and that kind of sucks. Plus, I purchased a sweet tea and the whole cup was literally filled with ice, and my cup of gravy was only half full. But the reason I'm giving 3/5 instead of 1/5 is the taste and freshness of the new spicy tenders.
Update: Just went back to give this location another shot. I will NEVER be coming back here. The workers have bad attitudes. The person who took our order in the drive thru was rude and acted like we didn't matter, then they shorted us on our family meal, and when I brought it to their attention, the teenager behind the counter was like "you really counted it? Ain't that something?"..... um, yes I counted it, because your location has a reputation for shorting people! Learn to do your jobs, also, it wouldn't hurt to actually be NICE to your customers. Again, I will not be coming back to this location, the Saginaw and Basswood locations...
Read moreDec 4, 2017 My husband and I went in tonight at 9:48 PM. A young girl name Gabriella was mopping and looked at us with a cold stare as we walked in. We greeted her but she didn't greet us back, just stared. We walked to the counter and she put down her mop and walked around the register. I asked if she was having a bad day and she responded with its been busy and she wants to go home. We felt uncomfortable so decided to take our meals to go. We noticed she didn't wash her hands before preparing our meals so we asked her to please do so. Food was good. We have been going to this location for 10 years and never have been treated with such disrespect by one of the employees. Please replace her with someone who wants to work and please give her what she wants which...
