Waffle House — Restaurant in Saginaw

I live in Keller TX and my boyfriend loves Waffle House. We’ve gone to several different ones in the area and every time it’s been a bad experience. I myself am a server/bartender of 10+ years. We went this morning to the location #1735 and it was the worst so far. My boyfriend orders the chicken bowl with extra cheesy eggs and light hashbrowns. The first one came with dried chicken burnt hash browns and regular eggs no cheese. He took a few bites and just let it sit. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon hash browns with a waffle. My eggs had cheese so I sent them back, the hash browns were almost raw and the bacon arrived 10 mins before the rest so it was cold. The cook took my cheesy eggs and put them on top of fresh hash browns and no chicken (on the chicken bowl) for my boyfriend. That’s a health code violation. The eggs were cold, the cheese congealed and the cook came to ask us about it and I asked him if he used my eggs and he said “yes I did, oh did you actually want fresh eggs?” I was astonished. I told him to definitely not remake the breakfast. Waffle House is like McDonald’s. I know it’s crappy and basic food so my expectations are low. But when there’s 4 tables in the whole restaurant in an hour there’s no way that a cook should be messing up orders like that or using other people’s cold food to remake orders. That’s disgusting! So please beware when going to a Waffle House. Their employees will tell you they are sick while breathing over your food, pick at the plate to remove hair while at your table, take food sent back from you or others to serve you, talk about wanting to die and kill themselves etc. Again I have very VERY low expectations of any Waffle House but this is beyond unacceptable, unsafe, a health risk and an uncomfortable...

WTF is going on at this waffle house??

came here with a friend on lunch hour, we were the only ones in the restaurant and only the cashier was inside. she explained to us that the cook and her do not get along and that the cook got mad at her and walked out back to smoke. The cashier felt bad and TRIED to cook our order since the cook would not come back inside. she made our food and basically did not do the correct portion sizes and did not know how to cook a medium egg (we basically had to walk her through how to make the meals from behind the bar). LUCKILY (if i should even say that) the cook came back inside from her smoke break freak out and tossed the plate the cashier made in the trash and remade our food. this all took about 45-50 mins before WE EVEN GOT OUR FOOD. that we then had to get to go, the cook didn't even wear a hair net with her long hair. THEN we asked the cashier to call her manager to try and get our food free since it literally took all our break and made us late back to work and the MANAGER told her over the phone ''no they cant have free food only a discount'' and that she was upset that the cashier called her on her night off. REALLY?? because last time i checked its the MANAGERS job to make sure all the workers can properly do their job and apparently these 2 could not, much less this ''manager'' that was called on her night off.

HORRIFIC experience, poor attitudes and defiantly will not be coming here on my lunch anymore. total...

The day shift is amazing. Place has always been clean. Food is cooked to perfection. Just how ask them. Oh and they are very friendly!! Now, with that said, I will say the night shift was very disappointing. Walked in, was greeted and told to sit anywhere we'd like..... couldn't do that because there was only one open table that was clean. Only two occupied by other guests. Sat down, waited, and waited some more. Finally had our order taken. 4 other guests walk in and sit down. Many minutes pass before I see them with their drinks, food and everything else. We still have nothing. Finally shows up with our food a few more minutes later. Still no drinks. Comes back with the wrong drinks. Get the drinks fixed. Remind him about the waffle. " yes, yes just a few more minutes and I'll have hit out " that's right you guessed never got the waffle, food was was over and under cooked. Made me look a fool to my wife for bragging about how awesome this place is. I tell yall my foot sure did taste better then that food that night. But WAIT....... I went back 2 days later ( during the day now) AND IT WAS AMAZING AS...
