I ate here for my birthday after seeing the reviews. At first the staff seemed very outgoing and attentive. After getting our appetizer we were asked to relocate to a different table due to some kind of a reservation mixup with a party just comming in to the restaraunt. This did not bother us initially but we had been placed next to someone with very pronounced body odor that made me feel sick. (I could have complained but that would be an awkard situation for everyone)

I made a comment to the staff about the small portion size (specifically the protein, but there were a whole 2 pieces of brocolli in a meal titled "vegetable deluxe") and they were rather dismissive and exclaimed there was a whole FOUR ounces of tofu in my meal as if it was a lot. I recieved several dismissive remarks in response including that they "typically don't get complaints," they used some "special kind" of tofu to justify the price, as well as they sell "an experience." I explained it wasn't about money and that I would have paid more for a complete meal. I recieved a bill reduction, but seemed unwanted as a customer. Checking the bad reviews, it seems most pertain to portion size.

I would have given a 1-star except the taste of both dishes was...

Tina, Lauren, Katie, Mama, Noni! Need I say more? Nope! But, . . . It's been way too long since we've had the pleasure. Today was different! I had Pho Beef with ghost peppers! Ecstacy! (10+) Dave had the Temple Chicken, which was superb! (5) Jennifer, went with Beef Pho, which she loved! (2 = whimp!) Life is sooooo much better now! I think we can go on, at least for a little while. 😊

Update on 08/14/19

I had Tina's Gai Boun - Chicken, Curry and Coconut at a "10!" Dave had Tina's General Chicken at a "3!" For our "warm up," we had "3" beef egg rolls and a bowl of Tina's Egg Drop Soup at a "10!" Everything was ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE!!!!! It was sooooooo good to see Tina and her crew! It's been waaaaay tooooo long! However, with the endorphins released tonight, I believe that I will be able to go on!!! Thank you, Tina!!!!! You came into my life when I needed you most! You do my heart good!!!!!!! Pasong's "atmosphere" is good for your heart and soul! I would recommend it to anyone looking for everything you need to just...

You guys are doing an awesome job with takeout during the pandemic! The food is fantastic, as always, and so is your organization.

Twice recently we've ordered Pho, chicken dishes, salads and soup and appetizers, once for lunch and once for dinner. Shrimp and noodles for the Pho were separated from the herbs and greens, and both are separated from the broth, so when it's put together at home it's all fresh. Same for the cooked chicken and dressing for the salad. And almost everything is paper/recycled packaging, which is very smart. Ordering was quick and easy, as was pickup: On time and brought right to the car when we let you know we'd arrived.

The Pho is the best I've ever had by far. I can't believe how fragrant and floral it is, and both times the shrimp has been PERFECTLY cooked, which is crazy for takeout. You're one of the few consistently great restaurants in town, and I love that you're a neighborhood, family-owned business....

I went for lunch today (Friday) and it was almost packed. So it did take almost 45 mins for my food to come. But it was so totally worth the wait. I ordered Pad Thai (13.50) and they were absolutely delicious. The waitresses were very polite and friendly. The presentation of food was also stunning. I would go there again. Update: I have seen rude comments from people about the delay in getting food. Iam not surprised since was told they make it from scratch and it definitely tasted super fresh. I would recommend going somewhere else if you have only half an hour for your lunch. This place is more suited for casual/romantic occasions.

The flavor of the pad thai wasn’t bad. I enjoyed eating it but it wasn’t what I was looking for and the portion was very small, especially for the high price. Also, there was large white onions in it that I had to pick out because the menu didn’t say there were onions in it. Maybe I was spoiled in Texas with all the good authentic thai food. If anyone knows of a place in the area with authentic Thai food please let me know. By the way, the girl that works there was very friendly.
