Sooo me and my brother were at work and decided to get tonys for lunch. We should have followed our first mind and went to the one by the mall instead we went to the gratiot location bcuz it was closer to the job sight. Huge mistake!!! Its not the fact that my brothers eggs were over cooked and without cheese which he ordered. Or the fact that my wings were undercooked. Or the fact that when we called back with our concern about our order which we paid 30 bucks for and the waitress told us there was nothing she can do i mean we weren't trying to get a refund or anything just a little recognition over our concern about our order. We were appalled at what i saw when i threw away garbage in the dumpster behind the building. I saw not 1 or 2 but 3 huge rats (not field mice) RATS!!! Run inside the building threw a hole in the wall that lead to the kitchen!! Needless to say i would have still eaten there just placed a different order. Now i know its worth the trip to go to the one by the mall or even birch run. (Very good food) but after today with the service and how we were treated after spending so much money and the city rats i saw. Never again only the titabawasse location 4 me its worth the trip. I would give the gratiot location a -5 stars if i could but i cant just another lesson learned. If i wanted rats for lunch i would've ordered...
Read moreI really try to like this restaurant since it is in the neighborhood. Tried something different, had the breakfast scramble which should be everything mixed together. It was horrible. Asked for the eggs to be overeasy and on top then everything else should have been mixed together with sausage gravy and cheese over it. The so called American fries were sliced potatoes , deep fried which tasted like potatoes chips. Everyone knows American are cubed and cooked like hash browns not sliced potatoes fried. 2 sausage patties laying on top The sausage patties were so deep fried they were tough. Then the eggs with a ton of gravy over it then so called cheese on top. I do not even think it was a tablespoon full. I had an order of pancakes which comes to 4, why not a full is 5.99, a half which is 2 is 4.99. Why not pay a buck and take 2 home. The other tables around me got syrup in a container, not me they gave me syrup in those little packets you get at McDonald's. I was like WTH? This is BS. The ignorant waitress makes a stupid comment because they didn't even come together but put on 2 plates and was going to charge me for 2 orders of pancakes. I said no that was one order. It is pretty...
Read moreSoooo many things wrong in 1 place • it's dirty ( my table was covered in food & they cook with their bare hands ) • they don't accept credit cards ( my visa Mastercard was rejected, I assumed ALL restaurants accepted credit in 2024 ) • The waitress was rude and kept flirting with my wife ( it was pretty awkward man ) • Somehow fries & 2 cups of coffee costs $18 here (prices are awful compared to the other Tony's in town) • They forgot it is a business first ( I was bothered by a regular of theirs as soon as I walked in & over my credit card not being accepted, she demanded i go find an ATM and basically called me a poor homeless person in front of my wife & child. I guess this is a regular experience for their customers, as the staff seemed perfectly ok with this behavior.) • I will never eat nor recommend anyone else eat here. The Tony's on center has better food, better prices, a clean dining room, and accommodating staff ( & they accept credit...
