I don’t come to this Dunkin much but I came yesterday and got some munchkins and coffee and the munchkins were stale. And then I came today and I did a mobile app order and picked it up in drive-through. I waited in drive-through at a minimum eight minutes just to get a coffee. I attempted to back up and cancel my order but someone was behind me so I couldn’t do that. But I did manage to speak to the girl on the speaker and ask her what was going on and if there was something wrong because I had been waiting in drive-through for so long. She nicely told me that I was not the only customer and that there were other people in line. I confirmed to her that I realized I wasn’t the only customer but did they have equipment breakdown or were they working short because this was a very long time to wait on an iced coffee that was done on a mobile app order way prior to me even getting to the store. And then when I get up to the speaker, the guy gives me my cup with cream all over the side of it so I asked for another cup and he takes it back around the counter and switches the cup. Then he tells me if I do a mobile app order it’s quicker to come in. I do understand that reasoning but eight minutes in the drive-through for any order is entirely too long. If you guys are busy, then you gotta kick it up a notch and you have to work faster. The exceptions to this if you are in training or something else is going on. But I kind of feel like many businesses around here move at a pace that’s good for them and not what’s good for the customer. I don’t surmise that my review here will do any good other than people reading it as most of the reviews here are very similar in nature to my complaint. So if there’s no response provided here, I’ll just reach out to corporate. I have very little faith that much will be done on that end because they just remodeled this Duncan so I’m pretty sure they have plans to stick around for a while. But I do encourage management to educate their employees on how to move through orders quicker...
Read moreI don't usually make reviews, especially bad reviews but this is the second time I go home crying from a bad interaction. I come here all the time and order an iced matcha latte with brown sugar and oat milk. I choose to come to dunkin because it's close to me and the drink usually tastes great, but I could very well go to a starbucks and get my partner discount there, but again, Dunkin is closer. I have always been super patient with them, I've had to wait over 20 minutes in drive thru, and I never get upset with them because I completely understand what it's like working in customer service and drive thru. A few weeks ago I got my matcha made with reg milk instead of oat, and I didn't try it till I got on the freeway so there was no going back. I couldn't drink it since Im very sensitive to dairy products, and it made me upset since it was money wasted. I kept going back because they usually never get the drinks wrong for me. But tonight, they did. I came into the drive thru and ordered my drink, but when I got to the window, I tried it and it wasn't made with oat milk, and there was a different taste in it. I checked the label and for some reason they added blueberry to it. And when I came back to get it fixed, this guy was telling me that he made it correctly and the label says blueberry but the drink doesnt have any, but I know exactly what blueberries taste like it tasted like them. They remade my drink, but one of the guys used a condescending tone with me and it made me really upset. I got home and realized they burnt my muffin a little too. I was having a bad day and this was supposed to be a pick me up, but I ended up crying, and while that might be dramatic, this meant a lot to me. I have always been polite and patient and I don't understand why this guy always has this attitude with me...
Read moreI don't get how this place has 3.5 stars! They are absolutely rude and untrained. I had the worst experience about a couple of months ago. I order a signature ICED mocha Latte! when I got to the window the young girl handed me a HOT drink. I told her I order the ICED mocha latte, when I pulled up they had the window propped open with a pen but when I told her my drink was wrong, she took it back, closed the window! Didn't say "I apologize, Oops, my bad" something just closed the window on me.
She comes back tries to hand me another drink and I tell her "The Signature Mocha comes with whipped cream", she takes it back again, closes the window, again no "sorry".
By the 3rd time she comes back I ask to speak to a manager she closes the window, and some young kid comes to the window. I explain the situation and ask him if they train their employees to apologize for any inconvenience, that a simple "I'm sorry for the mistake" will go a long way! however, they can't do that much OR get my order right!
His response: Blank stare at me!! "I don't know what you want me to do, I just got here"
By this time, I lose it! I tell him train your employee's the menu and how to excuse themselves or simply say "MY BAD" if they mess up 3 freaking times.
He yells, "get out of the drive or I'm going to call the cops"
He slams his window close and that was it.
I understand people make mistakes, but 3 times and no sorry, just total disregard for our time our money, everything. I stopped going there even though it's around the...
