She had forgotten the other bag , when you called I offered to deliver it ,but you refused. About the bags, that is something we typically use so the rice and fries don’t get wet and soggy, we are all Peruvians too and we work hard. Thank you for taking your time and giving us such a bad review.. wow estoy impresionada !!! God bless you . We were doing to order chichi morado. The printed menu in front of us showed a price of $2.99 but showed up as $4.68 on the POS screen. I questioned why the difference and the woman pointed to the large menu screen above and said the price had increased. I said the beverages on the menu screen were actually the only items that didn't show a price. She said it was a mistake.
Not sure why this is a common theme among Peruvian restaurants in Florida. I see the price on the Google Menu shows $4.16 but still not what they're charging. We opted for bottled water and was charged and were told $1.30 per bottle but were charged $4.68. Coincidence it was the same price as the chichi morado? Again no printed price for the water so who knows.
The avocado salad was actually pretty fresh. The French fries which are sold as a side for $8 were pretty skimpy. I mean fries are cheap and most places will give a pile of them The chicken was OK (definitely had better) but the chicken was a bit on the anorexic side.
The haucatay sauce was pretty good but the chinichuri was lacking for sure.
Was disappointed based on the reviews versus...

We started our meal with the Peruvian purple corn sweet drink, an “awesome” choice that perfectly set the tone for what was to come. The mixed seafood ceviche platter was a delightful symphony of fresh flavors, ideal for seafood enthusiasts.
The main course of rice, beans, and chicken was cooked to perfection, highlighting the essence of Peruvian cuisine. The chicken, free from heavy batter and excess oil, was a testament to the kitchen’s skill and commitment to quality.
One of the standout dishes was the yucca fries paired with huancaina sauce—a delicious combination that left a lasting impression. And the corn kernels, resembling small marbles in size, were a surprising and tasty treat.

Read moreIf you're looking for a delightful dining experience, you must visit Brazas! The portions are huge, and the food is absolutely delicious. We started with the mixed ceviche, which was packed with fish, shrimp, and calamari. The mild version was perfect for us, bursting with fresh, zesty flavors. Another highlight was the Jalea fish plate, featuring perfectly fried fish and yuca. The light batter on the fish was incredibly tasty, especially when dipped in the ceviche lemon sauce--simply irresistible. For a special treat, ask for the llomo saltado from their secret menu. This dish, served with rice and French fries, was a standout. We did not have room to try anything else but their chicken looked delicious as well! Brazas has a festive and lively atmosphere with great music adding to the enjoyment of our meal. The place is spotless and well-maintained. Plus, Wendy, the owner, ensured that everything was perfect for us. Brazas is a local gem. Worthy of trying over and over! Make sure you are hungry!!! We will be...
