Belk — Local services in Saint Augustine

Never again! I will never make another purchase at Belk.

A Christmas present was given to my husband that was purchased at Belk. She said she purchased it online.

No where does it state on their website that you cannot return a purchase that was made online in store. They claim they want you happy with your return.

We went to a local Belk store where we were staying for the Holiday. The customer service rep apologized profusely said she knew it wasn’t right, but there was nothing she could do. Mail order merchandise must be returned online.

(I have already contacted customer service at Belk, corporate office, and no answer.)

They had the exact same item, in store, that my husband wanted to exchange.

I don’t know of any store that will not return an online purchase, especially when we didn’t want a refund, we wanted to exchange it.

I did find another store that returned our item, it wasn’t Belk, and they were happy to do it.

I walked past 3 sales people who all ignored me as I looked for the department i wanted. As I went to walk into it an associate walked out of it and walked away. I found merchandise I wanted but I also wanted something hanging higher on the wall with no way of reaching it. I then had to walk to the other end of the store to get help. The associate who helped me was very nice and helpful. I made my purchase and was thanked. I then went to the other side of the store to look for gift wrap. I passed 7 employees all ignored me as I looked. I saw a great sale and again no help and no register open at the back end of the store though 2 employees were standing there.
