Nekter Juice Bar — Restaurant in Saint Augustine

My son and I stopped in for the first time the other day, after passing by a million times. We were greeted by Nick, the Owner, who was very friendly, and obviously quite proud of what they're doing. As they should be! When I mentioned I'm not a fan of chia pudding, Nick insisted his was like none other, and got me a sample. He's right - it was like nothing I've ever eaten! He had me try their PB chia pudding and OMG!! I was instantly addicted and left already excited for my next visit to have a parfait. My son and I both got smoothies, which were by far the best we've had. Fresh everything, house-made strawberry chia jam and cashew milk, Ghirardelli chocolate, no water, and very minimal ice. I’m glad Nekter is opened in Saint Augustine, but I’m not glad about the fact that they don’t accept cash. Cash is LEGAL TENDER in the United States and I typically don’t frequent or patronize businesses that are plastic fake money only! The owner should rethink that policy soon because a lot of younger kids under 18 might stop in there may not have a debit card or some kind electronic monopoly money. Additionally, I travel all over the US for work and have for many years. To date, this is the only Nekter I’ve ever been to that doesn’t accept cash! And the owner should remember there are several other juice places here that accept cash and make their food/juuces just as fresh...

Was so delicious and fresh that I ordered a ginger shot and an additional mango smoothie for the car ride, after drinking a medium size supercharged one! Super customizable and very VEGAN friendly with a vanilla pea protein substitute and Coco Whip available for their summer specials. Honestly, the best franchise smoothie’s I’ve ever experienced. The owner was very patient and nice while I asked questions and made up my mind. I’ll probably be back later today and I definitely plan on being here whenever we come over to visit!
