Beto's King Burrito — Restaurant in Saint Charles

I got a steak burrito for takeout. The place has a simple, local vibe that feels welcoming, with colorful decor adding some cheer. When I walked in, it was about a quarter full—busy but not packed. The staff were friendly and seemed to have everything under control, with enough people working to keep things moving.The music was cranked up a bit, giving the space some life, but it wasn’t so loud that it overpowered conversation, which I liked. My order was ready in about 12 minutes, which felt quick for something made fresh. The steak burrito was a good size, cut in half and wrapped in an additional layer of foil so you could eat it by hand if you wanted, with a nice balance of toppings to meat. They also included a bag of chips and two ramekins of salsa—plenty of chips for one person and just the right amount of salsa for them, though scooping it out of the ramekins was a little awkward. One of the salsas tasted like it had a habanero base—not too spicy if you’re used to that kind of heat, but definitely too intense if you’re not.Napkins and utensils were tossed in too, which was a nice touch...

First time patron and the food was INCREDIBLE. My family has been here around five times and they keep coming back, so that says a lot. I had the Burrito al Pastor, which was a great value because it was huge and cheap... and did I mention delicious? I tried a bite of some other dishes, all equally as great. The staff was kind and attentive, they kept our drinks filled and provided any condiments we requested. One day I plan on returning to try some of the seafood items - which looked great.

I would like to give a little advice though... when we were eating lunch there was a musician singing and playing guitar with an amplified speaker. It was so loud that my family and I couldn't hear each other talk. Please let the voice and instruments do the work, I think your customers will...

Beto's is BUENO! Stopped in for a togo order. Got some chips and 3 different salsa. Spicy, Mild, and a Verde. All delicious buy my favorite was the spicy. I got the Fajita Steak Burrito 🌯 It was huge and amazing. The only downside is I wanted more meat. Next time, I will order a less expensive meat like chicken or beef and see if there is more in it. Chicken or steak the exact same price.

Burrito was very tasty, and the salsas took it to another level. I grabbed togo so I couldn't really enjoy the atmosphere. But I will be back! #burritotime...
