I ordered a milkshake online. I had never had a 5 Guy's milk shake before. I came in to pick it up. They were out of the type I ordered. :( I would have gone somewhere else if I knew they were out. I had already paid online and waited by the counter for a while before a man told me, so i didnt try to get my money back to go somewhere else, I decided to just try it without the banana. There were 2 guys walking around with cups from by the shake machine laughing. They took what ended up being my milkshake up in the back. The milkshake machine is in the front. Hopefully, the back is where they keep the bananas and strawberries. They made me nervous, disappearing with my cup to the back and eventually bringing it back to the front. The milkshake is pretty small and didn't seem to be all the way full. I wasn't impressed. I'll pick somewhere else for a milkshake next time. They were not busy when I visited. I think their open signs were turned off. They were supposed to be open another hour. There were 2 customers eating peanuts at a table and another employee cooking burgers.

Simply great burgers. And Fries. It's a Five Guys, and it's pretty consistent with other Five Guys. Bright, clean. Walls covered in positive food reviews from newspapers. Smells like burgers and peanuts. If you have already been to another location, you probably know what to expect.

--If you haven't been before, it's pretty simple. Pick a burger size (the Little is not little, the regular is a big burger), decide if you want cheese and/or bacon to grace your burger, then choose your toppings (there are lots of toppings). Then, wait for your order and enjoy some complimentary shelled peanuts while you read up on the origin story of your fries for the day. Your burger will not disappoint you. The amount of fries will overwhelm you. --

Parking can be a bit limited at times due to the Streets of St. Charles, but there's always the garage on the other end of the complex if you are willing to walk. I would highly recommend ordering in advance on the Five Guys app, and skipping the only consistent negative of the Five Guys...
