THANK YOU to the security contractor who worked the door on Saturday evening (July 5, 2025) — it came to our attention that the Great Flag of our beloved USA had become entangled. The security contractor quickly corrected it, thus displaying the flag proper as it should be. We all know someone who has protected the integrity and honor of our nation, and although all gave some, some gave all. Much appreciation, and enjoy what is left of the holiday weekend. Happy Independence! 🇺🇸

OMG fun place to spend Saturday night before Christmas eve. Great food...tasty burger. Chicken breast salad. Cowboy pasta. Toasted ravs. Breaded mushrooms. All were very tasty and priced right. And live entertainment guitar player. Really a neat place. Scotty our (new) waiter made our dinner even better. Smiling happy attentive accurate thorough. The best! Great family setting on Main Street. We will be back for sure.

Does this look like a $13 sandwich to you? It was all bun. Also, the poor bartender was by herself at 5 pm on a Wednesday. We didn’t take it out on here because it wasn’t her fault but very disappointing. Lastly, this place charges almost 4% for using your credit card to pay. This is not posted on the menu nor the outside door. I checked before we left. If you’re going to do that, post it.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I NEVERRR write bad reviews online, but after many bad experiences here, I felt I had to. The service has always been shotty, two specific instances come to mind.

My best friend from Germany and I came here two weeks after she moved to America to give her a good “American” experience. The waitress/bartender was EXTREMELY rude when my GERMAN friend couldn’t understand her mumbling (even I couldn’t understand her). After my friend sincerely apologized for being a literal immigrant and not understanding English very well, the bartender gave a pitiful apology and barely paid any mind to us the rest of our stay.

I went again, and was greeted by the same bartender. People AND employees gave my friend and I, who are clearly queer, judgemental stares as we walked throughout the bar. When we found two seats, the bartender looked me up and down and dryly said, “Hi… you can’t sit there. They’ll take the chairs away.” And I couldn’t help but feel it was clearly because my friend and I are queer-presenting. We left immediately as the bartender turned to talk about us with her coworker.

I love country bars and am always hoping for a safe experience, but I will refuse to come here ever again - and I advise anyone who they would consider an “outsider” (you know what I’m talking about)...

This place has the worst hospitality.. all they want is your money.. I tried 23 times in 2 hours to call and ask a couple questions. No one would take 20 second to answer the phone.. I sent a message via Facebook and the owner wanted me to give my number so the manager could call me back at their convenience.. that is lack of respect.. I had a group of 18 that was willing to go and spend lots of money there.. we decided after a phone call we changed our plans and go to Stovalls Grove where they answered the phone immediately and gladly made us welcome and are going above and beyond to accommodate us.. I only had 2 simple questions for Honky Tonk and they don't appreciate anyone unless you are sitting there throwing cash In their face.. they also have a good menu on there site and when you get there hoping to get it you find out McDonalds has more on their menu.. they are inconsiderate and only want your money and have no respect for customers. There are many many places where you get treated like you matter.. I would have gave zero stars but I did have a decent time there once in the few times I've been there.. go where...

We had a really good experience. Bartender was really nice. Drinks were pretty economical - 7&7 tall was $6.

We ate outside on the patio. I had the roast beef French dip and fries. It was really good. My partner had the fried chicken wrap and fries and said it was really good. My dinner was $10, not sure of the price for the wrap. You go places nowadays and everything is overpriced, so we were very happy with their prices and the taste and quality of the food, and, the food arrived quickly. Very fast service! We both only ate half of our meals, so we had lunch the next day. I wish I had thought to take pictures of our food!

Our waitress was super great 👌 She had a friendly and happy disposition. When I asked about menu items and which was better, she made suggestions. I wish I knew her name to commend her.

We won't eat inside as we do not like loud music and like to talk and visit while eating dinner. We ate here during the week, so I don't know if they have music on the deck on the weekends. This place is probably kid-friendly if you sit outside. We...
