The concept of combining a bar, arcade, and lawn games is not a new one, but few establishments execute it as perfectly as this gem located in the heart of St. Charles. With a retro arcade on one side of the bar and a variety of classic lawn games on the other, this place is an absolute playground for adults looking to unwind and have some fun.

The arcade features a wide selection of classic games, from Pac-Man and Galaga to Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. There's also a section of pinball machines that will satisfy even the most die-hard pinball fans. The games are all well-maintained and in great condition, and there's a good mix of old favorites and new additions.

On the other side of the bar, you'll find a variety of classic lawn games, including cornhole, bocce ball, and horseshoes. The games are set up on a spacious courts separated by the type of game, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a cold drink and some friendly competition with friends.

But the fun doesn't stop there. The bar also offers a variety of popular board games, including Settlers of Catan and Cards Against Humanity, that are perfect for groups looking to enjoy a low-key night out.

And if you're feeling hungry, there's a food truck parked outside on the weekends that serves up some seriously delicious eats. The prices are reasonable and the quality is top-notch, making it the perfect spot to grab a bite before or after your gaming adventures.

Overall, Rec Hall STL is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fun and unique night out. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, the drinks are cold and plentiful, and the games are guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just looking for a fun night out with friends, this place has something...

Parking and entrance is at the rear of the building. Well lit, brand new parking lot with plenty of parking. Handicap parking available against the building.

There are 4 videogame stations right inside. Each station has 2 controllers and a comfy couch. The game console is mini Nintendo with 4 games.

Near the videogames are 4 or 5 ping pong tables. Careful of over shooting. One person backs up to a wall, but the other person backs up to the wide open space.v you may go running for your ball.

There is a lot of seating with comfy couches and some picnic tables throughout the space. There was giant Jenga on one table and giant Connect 4 on another.

There are 2 sections devoted to Air Bowling (throwing a football to knock down bowling pins). There are two shuffleboard courts. There are several bocce ball courts. There are about 10 cornhole stations.

There's a bar near the main entrance and another further back in the space. Plenty of staff and registers will make ordering a breeze. Lots of canned options from local beer and cider, to Red Bull (4 options), flavored sparkling juices, and canned wine. There's something for everyone.

Bathrooms are currently is a mobile porta potty trailer. Similar to what you may find at a classy outdoor wedding or music festival. There are sinks inside the trailer.

Suggestions: -Would love the addition of hand sanitizer stations. Every game involves touching something that someone touched before or that touched the ground. You build up the grime quickly. -Would love more accessible napkins/paper towels. As careful as you are with your drinks, they will inevitably be knocked over by a stray football. I didn't like interrupting a bartender...

I was there Saturday for a birthday party and I was going to have my birthday there this upcoming weekend but don't think that will happen anymore. First we walk in and there was not a line. People were scattered to pay. No lines were formed. I watched people without wrist bands walk in. I think that there needs to be more structure for the line. Second the employees that were working the front desk were very rude . My friend reserved tables and the girl working was really rude to her. Not knowing I was her friend after she walked off she said "Jesus Christ" then I said btw that was my friend . As we walked away she rolled her eyes at us. Later we were stepping out side to cool down and was yelled at not to take drinks outside. I didn't hear the guy say that and I said what did you say and he said " NO DRINKS OUT SIDE" . He was also very rude. There were no signs that said no drinks outside... I saw numerous people coming in and out with there drinks.. I felt as a customer we were micro managed. $7 for a city wide is a lot. We went to a bar in the groove and it was $3.50... I did enjoy the games but the employees were very unfriendly and made it seem uncomfortable.. I don't think I will be back unless the customer service improves. Your employees should not be rude or roll there eyes at us. I was with 20 people and they were not...
