Allow me to explain that a 1 star is generous and only given as a requirement to leave a review. I give a 0 star review in all reality. I Elaberate. The disrespect and blatant disregard for the hard working American dollar earned is flat out Jaw dropping. We have come to this bar several times and have never really had a problem. Aside from the poor ventalation or terrible table arrangements, we have always had great service and decent bar food. This particular evening we ordered $20 worth of finger foods and a large pizza at $9.00. The finger foods were delicious, the 12" pizza was burnt to a crisp, so naturally we returned and asked for another try. When the second pizza came back half burnt, we asked for a refund on the pizza alone. Now, at this point we have spent roughly $90 in alcohol (minus the tip and we tip generously each round). Once we asked for a refund for the second burnt pizza, quietly with no confrontation as to protect the integrity of the previously acceptable service, the owner slammed a plate full of the pizza in front of us demanding we taste what she claimed an acceptable "non-burnt" pizza. In which we politely expressed we did not wish to consume blackened pizza as a digiorno cooked at home would have been much more worthy of our $9.00. We are reasonable people and certainly did not intend to create an issue and were happy to continue purchasing drinks and other finger foods until the rude unnecessary outburst from the bar owner demanding we not only taste, but purchase black "jack's" brand like pizza. The embarrassment, unprofessionalism, and down right disregard for hard working income was astonishing. Needless to say, we will NEVER spend our money at this pathetic excuse for a company again. To profit off of any patron is robbery in my experience. If you do not care to eat burnt food or receive abuse as a result of a revolt for poor service, proceed at...
Read moreBeen there many times. Aware there was a management or ownership change and finally made it back today at 2:30pm with my wife. Not nearly as good as it used to be. We were there at least 10 minutes before a server ever came over to get a drink order and that was after the cook had to tell her we were there. At the time there were only 12 people in the bar including us. After we ordered food and eventually got a beer the cook was having a cigarette at the next table while our food was cooking. The music was so loud we could barely have a conversation. Food was just ok and a far cry from how good it used to be. Our server never did come back and see if we needed another beer. As we were leaving the server/bartender never looked up from her phone. We had really been looking forward to getting back there for a lunch but were so disappointed I doubt we'll ever go back. Drove almost 40 miles to get some good "fast eddie" type food. Looks like we'll have to drive...
Read moreThis place is truly a real-life version of "Cheers"! A spot where neighbors and visitors come together and enjoy one another's company. There's always something interesting and fun going on, whether it's the nights best karaoke performances or just a random topic of discussion. The burgers are the best deal in town and blow away any fast food joint, hands-down! The drink selection is plentiful and extremely reasonably priced (strong!)!! The service is always quick and with a smile. Between the videogaming machines, pool tables, Bingo and karaoke, there's a little something for everyone! Definitely...
