Starbucks — Restaurant in Saint Charles

7PM on a Thursday and only 1 person working the counter and drive thru and making drinks. 1 person for all of that. Total joke.

What would be an otherwise great store has been ruined by the attitude of 2 very rude and unfriendly employees.

I have been a good customer at this location since finding out about a few months ago. I would go each day. A couple times I ordered to a nearby location and I showed the employees at this location my phone to prove i placed an order.

Today I accidentally did place an order to wrong location. But I didn't know I placed the order at a nearby location. So I went through the drive through to get my order. When I got to the window I was scolded harshly by a very unfriendly person that starbucks obviously made a mistake in hiring. This is not the first time I have had an encounter with this individual. There have been many. She is just not a nice person.

The first incident was Christmas time 2022. My girlfriend and I had gone in the booneslick location and she didn't put the lid on well at all. My girlfriend took a sip and the whole coffee drink spilled on her. We turned around and saw this girl was laughing at my girlfriend for having spilled her coffee because the rude starbucks employee didn't put the lid on. This individual goes beyond rude and is an awful person to encounter when you are spending money with a business.

On another occasion I was trying to explain a quality issue with a drink I ordered the day before and the woman at the drive thru window would not listen and slammed the drive thru window shut in my face. Seriously, that should be cause for...

As the towns brand new Starbucks, a welcome addition on the busy hustle and bustle of First Capital Drive, a lot can be stated here. The location is built in a design similar to how the technology industries want everything we buy to be; elegant. The space is very maintained. The staff from my visit were nice, which will be interesting to see if that’s here to stay. Enthusiasm is the hardest thing in any job, isn’t it? They do tend to be out of things as it is the new trend here in St. Charles, however of what they do have it’s very clean and they have put consideration into the atmosphere and amount of staff working. That said, it’s smack-dab outside of a college campus. College kids from the time I visited were well behaved, being a sports team, however I do pitch caution if combing in the mid to late afternoon. Plus, the gender affirming bathrooms which are gender neutral are an addition for those who don’t identify as either gender or don’t wish to...

I will never go to Starbucks again as long as I live because of the interaction I just had. I went through the drive thru and asked for a water. The employee told me to come to the window. She told me policy changed and they can’t give cups of water out unless something is purchased. I said I would purchase the water. She flat out refused. How greedy can a company be that they won’t give a customer a free cup of water, or even a cup of water for like $1? She was very rude about it. What happened to customer service and just helping someone out? I told her I hurt my back and that’s why I wasn’t going to a gas station and it would be really helpful. Very rude and told me she couldn’t do it. That is the final nail in the Starbucks coffin for me. Not another cent of my money will ever go to the Starbucks company.
