The customer service here is absolutely horrendous. If I couldâve left a negative star I wouldâve. Been coming here for several years and itâs been continuously going down hill. A few years ago we got some bad shrimp. When we complained the manager looked at it and told us it was perfectly fine (it was completely rubbery and inedible). Her solution to a meal that couldnât be eaten was to give us $5 off. After several years we decided to try again. Ordered the southern style pork chops. The server read the correct order back. Upon getting home with the order found they had given the wrong order and server wrote the order incorrectly. The manager was incredibly snarky responding with âwell youâll still eat it right?â 1) no. Itâs not what I ordered and I wasnât going to eat it but 2) that shouldnât matter. You messed up and you absolutely refused to make it right unless I was willing to spend my gas money to drive up there, bring the food back and wait while they remade it. Even brought up they were on door dash and was told âI donât have a company card. You expect me to spend my money on it?â She continued to argue about how itâs hard to hear on cell phones and blaming the entire situation on the customer. Female manager needs A LOT of help in the customer service department. She will single handedly run this business into the ground. When spending $25 on a dinner that I drove to pick up, you expect to get what you paid for and not some snotty manager denying all fault. Wonât be back for a very long time if ever.
In response to your reply: It is interesting the assumptions youâve made. The gentleman you speak of is the one writing, I just do not have an account and used my family members. The strife as you call it is all mine. Iâm not sure what kind of an understanding you thought weâd come to except for the fact that you continued to tell us the only resolution was for us to expend our time, energy and gas to bring the incorrect food up there and be replaced. We offered several alternatives that didnât include us having to drive the food back to you, but you were insistent upon no food, no resolution and the entire time I was met with hostility and attitude. It wasnât until speaking with Rebecca on Facebook that true repentance and resolution was offered. Iâm not sure who your manager on duty was, but speaking the way she did to me was absolutely unacceptable. There was no yelling on anyoneâs behalf from our end of the call, but there was certainly yelling from your manager among other accusations including that this entire thing was my fault, that when you call on a cell phone they canât understand you and the restaurant held no blame. We maintain what we have said-the customer service from the manager on duty is poor and she absolutely requires some customer service training.    Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. First off the person who took our drink order wasnât the person who came back to take our order and was rude. The drinks had barely any alcohol in them. Specifically the Bloody Mary didnât have olives or pickles like it was supposed to. When I was brought my salad, my bowl was hot. I thought it had just come out of the dishwasher. My lettuce was halve frozen. As more food came out I figured out why my salad bowl was warm. It was because you microwave all of your food. The mozzarella sticks were from Gordon food service. The marina sauce wasnât even marina sauce. It was more of a salsa. For some reason I need to point out salsa and tomato sauce are two completely different things to a restaurant. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were microwaved from a bag and the gravy was clearly from a can. If I wanted microwaved chicken patties, canned green beans, and powdered potatoes, I would have stayed home. The green beans were so soggy they were mush. To make things even worse, as if the food wasnât bad enough, the employees. After we had a new server come to take over our table, she got irritated that she had to list the types of potatoes that were an option and wasnât clearly listed in the menu by the dish I ordered. When she came back with our food she huffed, slammed the tray on the table by us, and slammed ever plate on the table. The eye rolling was completely unnecessary. When asked if I needed a box and I responded no, I received more eye rolling. She obviously told the host that we were upset about the food as he came back four separate times trying to listen to our conversation. He was going to come back a fifth time but immediately turned around when he saw us coming and told the man at the register who we were and that we were upset. When we arrived at the register, the guy mumbled under his breath âif everything was goodâ with a snobby tone and when I asked him to repeat what he said became quiet. I didnât want to deal with the attitude and disrespect that I was given for simply asking people to do their jobs. As we walked out to our car, the cook clearly staring at us and visibly giving us a dirty look before he ran in to tell the staff that we asked what he was staring at.
For almost two years we watched your parking lot become so filled that we couldnât find parking and we finally decided to give it a try tonight.    Read moreand it will definitely be my last! This restaurant has given me the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life!! I ordered an omelette with a side of bacon and the food was not good. I took the 1st bite of the Omelette and could taste that it was unseasoned. I tried to take another bite but I just didn't like it. The bacon didn't taste that good either so, I just sent the entire order back. The waitress told me that everything would be taken off of my bill but when I got the bill they still had the bacon on there.
I went to the front to tell them that they forgot to take the bacon off of my bill. The waitress stated that they told her that she was only allowed to take the omelette off and that's it. I guess the girl that came up was a supervisor or whatever but she basically said that I was going to pay for the bacon no matter what. Now, the $5.20 that it cost for the bacon wasn't the problem. The problem was the fact that I didn't feel like I should pay for something I didn't enjoy or eat. Also, she was extremely rude and smug the entire time.
I told her I wasn't paying for it but I would pay the rest of the bill and she basically said that if I wasn't going to pay she would call the police on me. I told her to go ahead and do what she needed to do....she really called the police over $5.20!! I didn't care because ATP it was the principle for me. Once the police came and told them that they could only try to meditate the situation, they told them that they would just take me to court. ALL OF THIS FOR $5.20!!
I was fine with that but my mother in law and cousin said that they were going to far so, they ended up paying the bill.
Once I told people what happened, they said that they had a similar experience or they knew someone that had. Not surprisingly, all of these people were black!!
