Removing another star for another recent bad experience. The Good: The AM crew is always nice and consistently accurate. Don't think I've ever had an issue in the morning here (the usual lady in the window taking orders and payment is always very nice too). No complaints, AM crew is great! The day shift staff have been very pleasant too and only twice messed up an order of mine. Fixed it both times with no issue, nbd. Good job AM and Day shift. They deserve more stars, too bad I can't review them separately.
The Bad: However, the PM people are just not great. Shift changes should be nearly seamless, not take a full hour (I have been to McDonald's all over the country and this is seriously the first time I've run into this issue, and I also work in customer service so I can at least speak from experience). I've been told a few times they didn't know when the PM shift would even show up, whereas a different McDonald's told me they'd be ready to take my order in about 15 min if I wanted to wait. If you visit this place 10-11 PM you're gonna have a bad time. Food made incorrectly, tired cranky employees, etc. I say please and thank you to them as always and nothing back. Just go to another McDonald's if you end up there late pm. I think I'm done going here at night.
Having worked in food for a number of years, and other customer service related jobs, I always try to be polite and understanding and give people the benefit of the doubt. I realize it's fast food, I'm not expecting more than that but when it's a bad experience every single time I have gone during late PM well then there is a problem there and I hope it gets addressed. For months now it hasn't been so if you're like me and occasionally get off work around 10pm and just want a quick bite, skip this location, go to a different McD's or even one of their competitors (highly recommend the nearby Burger King or Taco Bell which have no problems with...
Read moreWorst experience I've ever had at a McDonald's. Went the other night, about 4 or 5 cars in line. I was willing to wait, no big deal. After about 30 minutes in line, I finally pulled up to the speaker.... and waited. Nothing. No one said anything. I was trying to be patient so I didn't immediately say anything thinking they were clearly busy, and wanted to give them a moment to catch up. About 5 minutes passed before I said "Hello?" TO the speaker. Nothing. 5 more minutes passes... at this point I didn't want to drive away because I had been in line for 40 minutes already.. the person next to me (there was 2 drive through lines) had kids that kept yelling at the speaker until FINALLY someone responded and told her they were just busy and understaffed. She kindly relayed that to me when I asked her what they said.. so AGAIN, I PATIENTLY waited. After another 10 minutes sitting there at the speaker that Noone ever even spoke to me through, I finally pulled away. I wasted almost AN HOUR waiting in line and at the speaker being as understanding as I possibly could, im a pretty patient person.. NOT a single employee had the respect or professionalism to even SPEAK TO ME. if I hadn't waited so long in the first place, I NEVER would have waited so long at the speaker....because there is NO EXCUSE to not quickly say something to your customers apologizing and asking them to wait because you are understaffed. The 40 minute line didn't bother me HALF as much as the 10 minutes I was blatantly ignored by the incredibly unprofessional staff. Saw about 10 cars pull away that night in the 50 minutes I was there. I will not be returning. Someone should train these employees customer service and what to do when busy. Alot of people will surprise you with kindness and understanding if you'd have the professionalism to show it first, ESPECIALLY considering...
Read moreWent through the drive thru to pick up a door dash order. Couldn't go through the lobby since they locked the doors early, and I couldn't get inside. Waited 8 mins for someone to acknowledge my car there.... At this time there were cars sitting in both lines at least 3 deep waiting for a response. AS WELL AS calling the actual store phone number to make sure they were actually still taking orders. She says "McDonald's" over the speaker. We tell her "picking up a door dash order" she says pull around to the window. We pull around and the lady just stares at/through us without opening the window. I say picking up a door dash 3 times and then she says no u pull up to the 2nd window, ok...... So pull up to the 2nd window. I can see this worker grab a paper bag fill an order out door dash seal stickers on it set it in the counter and walk away. Sit there another 5/6 mins then a different employee comes up to the window shoves a different bag out and says the ranch is in the bag. I said this bag isn't sealed is this the door dash for. * , No ur a door dash? Let me look and she starts walking around looking for 5 more mins. Then I get the other women's attention, isn't that a door dash order right there on the counter? Oh yeah what's the name? I again say "order for * ". Yea it's your here shoves it out the window. Now we're at 29 mins total more door dash percentage has dropped, my rating has dropped. This poor chick's food is probably cold as ice and I don't even know if it's. Actually correct inside because they seal the bag....... HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!! Being I worked at a McDonald's myself for 5 years I am actually dumbfounded that this happened. Going back and reading the reports on this specific location I guess I shouldn't have been...
