Sam's Sorrento Pizza — Restaurant in Saint Clair Shores

To be fair, I like their food. However, I can only like it if it actually arrives. I placed an order on the slice app at 521pm and received notification that they were a little behind, so I would receive my order around 620pm. No big deal. I didn’t get upset until 7pm when we called the store. They seemed confused and assured us our order was being packed up and would arrive in about 30 mins. Wasn’t happy, but I understand things happen. Fast forward an additional 45 minutes, we cancelled our order. Terrible customer service. I understand that things may take longer now a days, but manage expectations and notify customers of the delay. Don’t continue to make promises you can’t or don’t intend to keep. I’m not unreasonable, all they had to do was give me real information. Manage your customers’ expectations, because I certainly didn’t expect to wait over 3 hours for food to arrive. Won’t do...

This place is going downhill fast. Arrived after ordering 20 minutes prior by phone. 2 teenagers were hiding in in the back. After 5 minutes an Older Delivery Guy came into the Lobby of 3 customers waiting and told the Teens "Customers are waiting.!" The young man took my Credit Card and rang my order then told me after it would be an additional 15 mins. I should have checked my order before leaving. Arrived home to find a Pizza that appeared to be baked twice. It had a layer of Sauce Cheese More Sauce and a layer of less baked cheese and 1000 Sesame Seeds. Another customer stated that prior to my arrival the Kids were not sure how to make a Sorrento's Classic and had to look at a flier to make it. This thing looked and tasted like something from a Grocery Store Freezer Isle. Last Pizza I order from here... Will travel an extra 15...

Wow this was the worst pizza ever. We ordered a large super pizza and wings this afternoon was told 15 minutes got there in 15 minutes to get cold pizza with very with a hint of toppings like 5 pieces of peppers 8 pepperoni and 6 pieces of mushrooms!!!! For $42 I would expect more for toppings. We have been getting pizza here for a couple years. Now you serve cold dough with a sprinkle of cheese and toppings. Actually the corners have nothing!!!! Guess it's time to find another pizza place. Not going to be hard pizza places are a dime a dozen. People beware keep your money this place is not worth $5.00 for...
