Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Saint George

Really didn't deserve a star at all, but wasn't an option....My cousin and I are visiting the town. Overall trip Is amazing, beautiful town amazing people! Was disappointed when we went into Dickey's Sat 5/25/19 around 5:45/6:00 p:m there was a family of 4 at the center table no other customers. We walked in my cousin and myself, there were 3 young women employees at the register/counter who said hello and just stared at us, I smiled and my cousin smiled, we said hello, my cousin was lookig up at the menu on the wall.. I was looking at the employees staring at my cousins head. My cousin suffers from a Thyroid condition that causes her hair to fall out, so she shaves her hair very low to her scalp, ( what woman wouldn't be a bit self conscious about being bald!) I watched the employees stare at her, chuckle and make eye contact with each other and laugh, not the laugh out loud laughter, but the type of laughter that when you and some friends notice something that you think is funny and one gives that look over to the other and you laugh! My cousin is still looking up at the menu not paying attention to them, I tap her on the arm she turns around and I motion with my head towards the door and say to her let's go! she says oh ok, we get outside and she says whats wrong?! I tell her what I just witnessed, she said quietly Oh! So, we get back in the car and leave. I will NEVER GO BACK! That was so rude and so wrong! Have respect for people! you never know what issues people have in their lives!! It would have been wrong of me to say a few insulting remarks, but I felt one bad turn didn't deserve another.....Shame...

I'll start off by saying we had no issues with the quality of food, it was good. The problem we had was the absolutely crazy price in which we paid just to have us all still hungry. We had them cater for 16 people which before tax and tip turned out to be $22.50 per person. We cater quite a bit and this was on the pricey side as it is but have always had extra food afterwards everywhere else. Everyone was initially shocked to see how little food was given and thought it was a joke...we all went very easy on the meat portions but still had 4 people not get to eat any and the rest were left hungry. When I called to find out if we were shorted I wasn't given the chance to even talk with the caterer and was told we got extra meat... I ended up talking to them the next night and didn't get any better answer. The online catering menu doesn't even give you all of the options either...so its very hard to even order what you need. If an individual walks into the store and orders an entree for a personal order you will pay $17 and you'll be filled...if you do the catering you will pay a lot more and your guests will still be hungry. I could go on but this will do. Will not be using Dickeys for catering...

Disappointed to say the least. We ordered catering for a party. Received a call a half hour before the scheduled pickup saying it was going to take an extra hour to complete the order. I was asked what time I needed it and told them the event started at 3 so I need it by then, she said okay perfect, we will call you as soon as it is ready. At 3:00 I arrived to pick up my order (1 hour after scheduled pick up and no call back). Received no welcome, no communication, waited about 10 minutes with no help. We had ordered a potatoes bar with brisket and pork. We got back to the party (now 20 minutes late for serving guests) only to find there was only half of the containers of topping filled. The brisket and pork were ice cold and there was definitely not enough for the amount of servings ordered. Half a container of shredded cheese that was completely stuck together and some chives? BUT the potatoes were cooked to perfection so bonus? I guess? I was told this place was locally owned and operated so I thought I'd support someone local. I'm sad it turned out this way and hopefully it was just an...
