Express Chicken — Restaurant in Saint George

So nice to be greeted by friendly, smiling staff, who are happy to have your business. The food was great, and portions were larger than I thought they would be. I had the large Chicken & Rib Combo plate, which is 2 ribs and 1/2 chicken. It also comes with pita bread, a small salad, and one side. For the side, I chose baked beans. The beans were excellent, and it was a huge portion! The ribs were delicious - thick and meaty, seasoned very nicely but not too much, and cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The chicken was tender and flavorful, but not quite as juicy as the ribs. The salad was basic iceberg lettuce, one slice each of tomato and cucumber, one hot pepperoncini, and served with a little cup of tasty dressing on the side - not extravagant by any means, but added a nice touch. While there were no chunks of feta cheese in the salad, I could taste the feta in the dressing. By the time I finished, I was stuffed! I was surprised I got so much food for the price. I'm so happy to have more food options coming in to the west side of town, and definitely plan to return here to try other specialties. Can't wait to try the Gyros and Souvlakia! If they served Moussaka, I'd probably eat there...

I gotta shout this place out, they rock! I've driven past many times wanting to stop when I saw "gyros" on the window. So happy we finally did. The whole family loved it! We can't wait to go back and try so many other plates on the menu. Express Chicken is one restaurant I want to see succeed and stay here! I got the ribs and they were by far the best ribs I've ever eaten. 2 was a lot of meat and the sauce was unique in the best way, the meat was so tender, it was the rockstar. Even the husband who doesn't love ribs tried mine and said they were incredible. They got the gyro plates. One sandwhich and one just gyro. The flatbread is like a soft cloud, so delicious! Both said they were awesome! We all got fries, they are crinkle cut and come with a pink fry sauce. The real surprise was the sides of rice. Large amount and it's fluffy light perfectly seasoned rice. Wasn't expecting it to be so good! Highly recommend this restaurant, it's so unique to what we have locally and I hope they have great success, so we can keep eating there....

My wife and I joined four other people in our group for a VERY welcome, first-time surprise visit. Even in the Chicago burbs, from where we moved recently, there is nothing like owner Shawn's (Sean's?) amazing Express Chicken. It's great to see such a nice addition to our neighborhood here in St. George. I had the #21 combo plate - served up fresh, tasty and promptly, with personalized service from the owner. My wife had the chicken kebab. We then treated ourselves to an impossible-to-find-elsewhere baklava - not at all greasy or overly sugary, but with the natural sweetness of the honey.

I've been to Greece over two dozen times. I can honesty say that there is no comparable value to Express Chicken for Greek food anywhere around here. It will now compete for our favorite portfolio of St George restaurants across ALL different types of food for excellent value, tasty foods and service.
