Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Saint George

I went in there last night around 5:45pm ( February 17th), & it was by far the worst experience I have ever had anywhere. I never complain, or cause an issue because I’ve worked in food, and always in customer service so I understand how it can be sometimes. But this needs to be written. My one year old son, went to go play on their playground outside. The whole bottom of the play area is broke. All the padding is ripped apart, & it is super dangerous. Without knowing this, he went out to go play with his uncle while I ordered food. When I go out there, my son had tripped over the broken apart pieces and was bleeding down both of his legs. They were all cut up, so I went up to the register and asked for a first aids kit. The lady who approached me said very rudely “ I’m the manager but don’t know where it’s at. I’ll go check”. No apology, no asking if my son was okay. Absolutely no empathy; but that’s fine. She comes back and throws some bandaids on the counter and goes “ don’t know where it is, this will have to work” and just walks away. Like how are you a manager but don’t know where the first aids kit is? I clean my son up and finally get to eating the food. But they missed half of our order 🙄 so I go up there again, NICELY, and say “ hey, you guys forgot half of our food, is it coming?” She then catches a bad attitude and tells me “ what are we even missing??” At that point I was done. My son was upset, our food was all missing, so I just tell her it’s not a problem, & that we will go somewhere else. She then without responding, goes over to the register, refunds our order ( not even the full amount we paid) and literally THROWS it across the counter at me and walks away. We were never rude ( again worked in food so i know how it can be if it’s a busy night), my son even spilled his drink and we didn’t even hesitate to clean it up, we left our table cleaner then when we came in. But I’m not sure if this night manager was having a bad day or what, but I could never justify acting that way to any customer. She was maybe 18, and was smirking, and making the whole thing into a joke. I don’t get how it’s funny, that a one year old baby, is upset with cuts down his leg on YOUR broken playground that is open to the public to use. I will never go there again, left so upset , and have never ever had someone treat me & my family...

Whoever was on shift today 9/16/2023 was very rude. This person likes to smile and laugh but is very rude to customers and ignores customers who are waiting in line to order. If you are so short staffed, then why have drive thru and lobby open? I was just there the other day and there was only two people working and they managed to do it on their own. Instead of taking orders and helping customers, they just have their backs turned the entire time. No respect at all and couldn't take care of a customer who complained about their overcooked onion rings. Get rid of this person as for they shouldn't be working in a customer service job whatsoever. If you can't handle the workload,then find somewhere else that you can handle. Regardless if you are busy, there should be a system in place, to where they should still serve the customers. The other arctic circle had 6 employees and wasn't as busy, but were messing up orders. **Skip this place. The food has gotten terrible, and is overpriced. Wendy's cheapest chicken sandwich mops the floor with this place. And you don't need to worry about food poisoning.

It's been a while since I went to Arctic circle. From past experience, I was expecting the food to be a little more pricey than average, but pretty good quality. Well, the price hasn't changed, but the food quality has. I had a lemon-pepper chicken sandwich, and it was terrible. It was cold, and unappealing, and when I but into it, it CRUNCHED. Not a crispy-sandwich yummy coating crunch, but the "meat" crunched. It was super chewy and awful. The fact that something like that could be served is atrocious. Seriously, how old was that chicken? Is there no inventory checking going on? Is everyone working there asleep...
