Complaint Regarding An Employee Named Robert At Saint Geroge, UT Popeyes Location
Dear Popeyes/Franchise Owner:
My name is Kevin Jerinnie. I currently live in the City of Saint George UT. On Wednesday January 11th me and my business partner Nick Davis had visited the Popeyes location in the drive through. The Employee the manager name “ROBERT” that was on duty at the time was extremely rude and disrespectful to me and my executive business partner While getting a meal deal using the code for 2 can dine. Once I provided Robert the code for 2 can dine (8049) he immediately was extremely aggressive, rude. He disrespected me saying if you do not give me or show me a paper code you won’t be getting your food and I had already paid him for our 2 can dine meal. I told him that you should always treat all customers right regardless of race or who they may be or are. I have noticed on another visit tho this store how he treated me. I guess I am not sure if you has a problem with race, because I have experienced this type of disrespectfulness before when I go to this Popeyes location when Rober is on working at the drive through. So I am writing to let who, managers, owners be aware of my past experiences at this Popeyes location on several other visits from the exact same person named Robert. He told us here is your food and close the window when I ask his name and mentioned again to him that I may report this type of act and rudeness.
I have a Receipt for the meal me and my business partner received from Robert which he gave me an almost blank paid receipt that I was not able to read nor understand. I have been a Popeyes customer for over 29 years and have not ever experience this manner of behavior before. Here is my information before and the purchase receipt from the night of the complainant against employee named...
Read moreI went 7/17/22 somewhere between 6:30pm-7:30pm. I went in & went to the bathroom while my husband went to order. I came out and he still had not been asked his order. There was no order line. There was only a door dasher waiting to pick up an order. No employee said anything to us. Not even “We’ll be right with you.” They had two orders set on the counter. Finally the DoorDasher asked if his pickup was ready. The young boy looked at the receipt of one of the orders and said “Oh yeah. This is it. Sorry.” We still waited to have our order taken. We were right by the counter. There was one male employee behind the counter putting together an order, one male in the back cooking, and two girls standing around complaining about the scheduling. No one looked at us. We were there for about 15 minutes total without a single recognition. Finally I asked one of the guys if we could order. He sighed in annoyance and went to the register. I said “Are you okay if we order?” He said “Yeah that’s okay.” But still annoyed. Come to find out they only had spicy chicken available. We ended up going to KFC. Who is running this Popeyes? I understand maybe they were stressed from a possible rush beforehand??? When we went in there was two cars waiting for their drive they order and none ordering. No one inside waiting to order but us. What was the hold up? How hard was it to acknowledge us? Why was the guy who finally helped us stressing while his two coworkers were...
Read moreWhile Popeyes Louisiana Chicken has garnered a reputation for its bold flavors and signature crispy chicken, my recent visit fell disappointingly short of expectations. The restaurant, known for its Southern charm and spicy recipes, seemed to lack both in ambiance and culinary execution during this experience.
Service was another area where Popeyes did not live up to its usual standards. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disinterested. When the food was ready, it was a letdown. The chicken, usually praised for its juiciness and flavorful coating, was dry and lacked the signature spice blend that Popeyes is famous for. Additionally, the sides, which should complement the meal, were equally disappointing. The biscuits, often a highlight, were hard and seemed stale, while the fries were lukewarm and soggy.
Portions also seemed to have shrunk, leaving a question mark over the value for money that Popeyes once offered. While fast food is not expected to be gourmet, there is a basic level of quality and service that was not met.
The overall experience was underwhelming, casting a shadow over the once-lauded reputation of Popeyes Louisiana Chicken. It's possible this visit was an off day for the restaurant, but it certainly makes one reconsider returning, especially when there are numerous options available for quality fast food. Hopefully, Popeyes can address these issues promptly, returning to the standards its customers have come to...
